CB6000 - 24/7 wearers?

Many people (myself included) start with a CB-X as their first chastity device. I've used the 2000, 6000 and 6000s. They are good starter devices, but if you decide to get serious with chastity, sooner or later you'll want to move to a steel cage.

The CB6K devices are difficult to keep yourself clean in, and often require a more fiddly approach to hygiene. Plus, being plastic, they do break, esp. with long-term wear. So enjoy it, have fun with it, but I don't recommend them for the long haul. I have a Mature Metal Jailbird I spent a year in, 24/7 with no releases. People do it in plastic, but it's a lot more work. Nothing like lying on your stomach in bed, then feeling that 'crack' as something gives way. Doesn't happen with steel.

I see people saying these are good "starters." I can't wear metal because I have an allergy to it, so if anyone has ideas about better plastic cages I am all ears.

Like @Billus stated, for serious wear you need a steel cage. I also have a jailbird as I'm on 24/7/365 lock down, I wouldn't even entertain the idea of long term denial in a cb6k in all honesty as the hygiene regime would be almost impossible.

I know this post is old, but I don't like that some people refer to plastic cages as non-serious. I am serious as it gets, but I am allergic to pretty much all metals. Not shelling out the cost for a platinum cage. So, if you come up with a metal cage I can wear, then I am all ears.

It comes down to personal preference. I like a transparent see-through cage. I think it looks hot and I can see what is going on inside. So far the CB system has been good at keeping my weenie snug, comfy and safe from wiggling out.

It hasn’t been an issue for me. But I don’t like how the tube itself is 2 parts that are kind of clipped together. I wish it were just one clean mold.
