Thanks for the reply and the correction! Newbie here, lol
I did however find out that it’s 6mm. Is that normal?

So I just found the size of urethral tube...it’s 6mm, should it go in pretty easy or is that just to big when you’re just starting out?

When it comes to urethral tubes, 6 mm is the smallest outer diameter you can get. How easy it goes in depends on the shape and material of the end (or end piece) of the tube. Metal slides better than silicone, and a rounded end slides in better than a flat end.

6mm is a pretty standard size. It should go in OK. Again, don't push down too hard, experiment with different angles. When you get the angle right it should, with just a little pressure, pop in. Then you can slowly push it all the way in, then snap the lock shut.

Been trying and trying, just seems like it’s just not gonna go! I really feel like I’m pushing to hard so I just give up and try again another time. I will keep trying, everyone says it should go so I will keep at it. Lol, thank you all for the replies and support!!

Not sure if you ever got the catheter/plug or whatever the preferred/correct term is i had the same problem, as of this morning I finally got mine in. I ordered a sterile lube from Amazon lubed it up and got to the point where it just stopped. I squeezed the lube up inside the plug and used more lube, it got to the point where it stopped I started rubbing underneath the shift where the urethra is wiggling everything around between being flaccid and erect for about 20 minutes it finally started to slide in. Removed the tube attached it to the cage and after some more wiggling it was all the way in with cage attached.

Are you usually standing up when you try to insert? Have you tried to do it lying down and don’t look at what you’re doing but just feel and let gravity help you. The first time I ever got a tube to fully insert so I could lock a cage on with a urethral tube happened when I was laying down and allowing gravity to work with me. There was a lot of lube, sterile gloves, clean everything, and a lot of patience and waiting for my body to just relax. Once it goes past that little resistance point you’re having issues with, it just gets sucked in and it seems like gravity and your body is just pulling it down into itself which is a kind of freaky, scary, neat-o, cool, and wow kind of thing when it happens. Keep your lock close-by as you are laying there and guiding the tube in and when it gets there, lock it down and enjoy your newfound chastity experience and if you can promptly go use the restroom. I recommend sitting down for this part because it’s going to be a new sensation to pee through the tube and you’re going to have to regulate how much force you’re putting behind that new plug. You don’t want to push too hard, just let it flow out, and you may also feel some vibration from it, it’s cavitation. You’ve got air bubbles that have to get out along with the urine now so just be aware that it’s going to be some new things to feel and if you feel any pain, be smart and stop. Pressure is different than pain, I’m sure you know the difference. Have fun, be safe, and I hope this helps.
