Can I make a permanent collar home?

    Sorry I don't speak English very well.

    What I mean a permanent collar is those that do not have a padlock or key system that can be released easily

    Those once locked or shut, it cannot be released and removed with a key

    Does it involve soldering ? or anything otherwise? Can I do it home?

    Hope you guy understand what I mean

    when my old cage broked i glue it with aridite and it aint half strong so if you put a collar round your neck and then glue it with that i bets it wont be able to come off unless you go to the firemen and asks him to do it.

    i have one of the talena type ones. 8mm and the matching bracelet. they are superbly made.

    however i have had to take mine off a couple of times, but only due to medical testing where i couldn't wear them. otherwise they have been on permanently since i bought them and thats been about 7 years now. no skin issues, no irritations, no nothing at all!!

    A few I know use the wyred slave collars and lock-tight or JB weld the setscrew into place. I wear one with the set screw in place but my wife can remove it with the allen wrench when we travel. Other than that, it is always on and I can't remove it without going to the hardware store and trying to find the mini metric wrench myself with a salespersons help .lol

    I can't remember where I got my collar from but it's just secured with a small screw. The wrench is kept in my queens keysafe along with my cage key. It's not permanent but I have worn it continually for about 7 months so far this time. I bought it about 7 years ago and wore it on and off. I'm not sure about permanent wear or glued in place though.......bit scary.
