Cage induced erectile dysfuntion? (2nd post)

Nope, no medications, I take supplements like B12 and D3 but I've always taken them, so nothing different now than prior to januari 28.

Libido isn't that high now but I think that could also be attributed to the stress all of this has caused me (even though I've had more stressfull experiences in the past that didn't affect my libido to this extent so I dunno...), with some effort, time and dedication (or when I just wake up when I have morning wood) I can still get something you could call an erection but it's not half as hard as it was prior to januari 28 - when getting a rock solid erection was the easiest thing in the world - and it gets back to a flaccid state real quick, I can still get an orgasm with this limp or half erect penis but it feels kinda weird and unnatural.

That would be the biggest coincidence ever....or you mean the physical constraints of the chastity cage could have altered my hormones in some way? 'cause in that case it wouldn't be just a coincidence...but yeah...maybe (the cause of) the irritation I'm experiencing is not causally related to my ED.

Thanks for the tip, I'll mention about hormones as well and see what they advice me.

UPDATE: For any of you wondering, I explained my situation to my GP and he said it's not that unusual that if there's continuous pressure on (penile) tissue it can irritate a nerve which in turn can cause erectile dysfunction and that it's very unlikely to be something psychological. He adviced me to just give it time to heal for 1 or 2 months and then evaluate further and (as expected) refrain from using the cage in the future. He said that if he were to send me to an urologist he/she would probably advice me the same and just making an appointment with an urologist is like 300 euro here ( Which alone would almost reach maximum excess of my health insurance, something I wasn't neccesarily planning on exceeding otherwise) let alone when I let them make an echographic scan (for example) on top of that.

So how so many people who engage in chastity with chastity cages way tighter and for a way longer time than I have don't have any erection problems is beyond me...I guess I just have a rather unusual anatomy in my penis when it comes to location of certain nerves or something.

 

That's what I thought initially too because of my 2,5 week of nofap prior to using the cage and even within the first few hours of wearing it I watched porn/chastity captions (to test it) it didn't even bother trying to get erect untill quite a few hours later that day. But even a few days before wearing the cage getting an erection was as easy as ever, and I've also done 4 weeks of nofap in the past and no erection problems and within a week after wearing the cage I've also had 2 orgasms (the first one breaking the streak of what must have been 3 weeks of nofap by then...I forgot the exact number of days) and that didn't change anything...so I dunno.

 

Then again, not unusual according to my doctor apparently, lol

 

UPDATE: erection is becoming a bit better and slightly easier to achieve but can still only accomplish that by visual stimulation and imagination and involving my whole body, getting an erection merely by hand stimulation still doesn't work (although I haven't tried it since februari 1st untill yesterday and also didn't give myself any orgasms since that day yet, still not sure if I could negate that playing a role), I'll give it another month.

 

So the chastity cage works.....just not the way I expected XD

 

UPDATE: Unfortunately things still haven't improved after 3 months of waiting and not even masturbating for the entire duration untill only 5 days ago (so yeah I did break my NoFap record, lol), I informed my GP about this and he finally referred me to an urologist. I'll keep you guys updated on here and maybe with a new post after the appointment(s) which might include some valuable information for guys starting chastity as well (probably something in the sense of: 'Don't make the same stupid mistakes as I made', lol).

 

I'm reading this back now and have to say my penis feels more numb now then it did 3 months ago, or at least part of my penis does, I also still feel the irritation (even more so than before, sometimes it feels like it transfers to other parts of my body) after carefully trying to get erect again (which I refrained from doing for 3 months untill like a week ago).

Anyway...I hope this doesn't mean it's damaged to the point beyond repair.

Hey everybody, for those of you still wondering I thought I’d give you guys an update, lots of things have happened but I’ll try to keep it succinct.

So I still have difficulty getting and maintaining full erections and I still feel like there is a blockage and irritation whenever I have one but nonetheless all of that seems to have improved at least a bit since last time I posted here, so that’s a good thing.

In june I visited an urologist, after inspection she didn’t find any real anomalies in my penis and suspected that psychological factors (at least at that moment as opposed to back in january) could play the largest role, so she didn't see any 'physical problem' though I could clearly see my penis being thicker than normal and feel the blockage and irritation inside. She eventually referred me to the website of a sexology center so I could try to find a sexologist and because in my e-mails to them I was still very firm that I was convinced it was not just something psychological (even though I didn’t rule out that could be a factor as well) and I wanted a second opinion on the physical state of my penis first it took some being sent back and forth but eventually I found someone that is a nurse in the department of urology and andrology that is specialised in physical problems with the penis that could cause sexual problems, my first appointment with her was in august where she actually did find a small thickening with scar tissue albeit very minimal.

In september she let the hospital conduct a duplex examination which uses sound to detect any strictures in blood vessels and to measure blood flow and a few months later Electromyography examination (EMG) which stimulates the nerves in the penis with small currents and measures the electric response to them with the help of elektrodes. The duplex results were normal with optimal bloodflow, with the EMG the nerve that’s (mostly?) responsible for erections also yielded normal results but the pain nerves were a bit hard to measure since obviously that part of the penis that had that little scar (were presumably the cage pressed the hardest that night in january) is still a bit more sensitive so it was more difficult to get the higher currents through (which were still tolerable) which were needed for more accurate results (because of noice/margin of error stuff).

Anyway, good to know there seems to be no real significant nerve damage and she adviced me to just wait and let it heal (and since it doesn’t look like nerve damage it probably doesn’t have to take more than a year) and if it does get worse to let her prescribe me pentoxifylline to prevent the possible development of peyronie (which causes curved and painful erections), but like I said, fortunately for now it seems to be healing on it’s own, albeit it very slowly.

As for trying chastity cages in the future: until it's fully healed I'll probably refrain from using any cage and if I ever decide to use one it will be one with customization options (like the Vice) as opposed to a one-size-fits-all model and start with a slightly longer tube length than I used the first time (even though that one article I shared here said most men should be able to wear even one inch cages without problems) and start with short intervals and slowly building it up before wearing it overnight and of course being more wary of any pain or discomfort I might be feeling while wearing the cage.

Apart from that I just try not to worry about it all too much (which might also be beneficial to the degree psychological factors are involved).

 

Alright, well according to my urologist it will probably take less than that since it's (most likely) not the nerves that are damaged.
