This must have been asked before - sorry if it has…
What in your opinion is the best place for a second key left at home in case of an emergency ?

I have one of these key sheaths on my key ring. Goes with me everywhere. Individually numbered key tags can be purchased on Amazon.

P.s. I have no financial interest it this product.

The garbage can. Tools are for actual emergencies.

I would prefer an actual key than tools to be honest

Same. It's dangerous af to rely on tools and having to cut one of these things off (esp if you're wearing a metal cage).

I have an emergency key sheath like above. It stays in my work bag which goes pretty much everywhere with me.

i used to fret about it too, where to put it, would it get lost, etc. i found just picking one spot, a drawer, vase, or tray, where you can always put it, is good enough. Some place you'll remember.

It can be as simple as a signed piece of paper by your mistress, then use clear tape to enclose the key in the paper so the signature can be seen and store it in your wallet.

That said I did make a ley lock once out of bit of copper pipe once, it didn't have to be padlocked to the shelf, couldn't get the key out of the pip without breaking the tag.

These days we are a bit more hi tech, one is in a igloo lock and one is on my partners keyring. She can send me a remote unlock code if need be, if I cant get hold of her and I have to go to ER so be it. I have stood before airport security before and shown them my steel cage....which was kinda funny....too old and ugly too care much what people think.

Ether get your wife to hide it somewhere in the house so only she can tell you where it is, or freeze it in ice in a ice cream tub or similar and leave it at the back of your freezer.

Our spare is in a sealed envelope. I opened it once for an emergency appendectomy. She was not home at the time. The envelope had a nice note in it with the key.

Yea, in my opinion, it is a damned good idea to have a spare.

Right now, I carry the spare in a zippered section of my wallet. I’m still struggling with irritation issues, so until those are over, I carry the emergency key. I’ve only had to use it once, but I’m glad I had it. In time it will either be at home, or sealed in tape and paper.

The other time I used it was when out of town and one testicle popped out of the ring. Ouch. I was very glad to have the key.

Obviously, since a medical emergency requiring the removal of a chastity device necessary to receive medical treatment could likely involve unconsciousness you need an adequate safety plan:

1st, a tamper evident key on a pendant worn at all times.

Next, a medical alert tag on the same necklace describing the keys use.

Optionally, a second tag requesting that you be placed in four-point restraints, when in recovery until your keyholder can re-install your device.

cheap business card laminate 'pouch' - available in 20-packs from Amazon, slips easily into card case / wallet / iPhone magnetic card holder.

best worst-case is a slipped testicle, not worth taking any chances.

I carry the emergency key attached to a hotel key card by a tamper proof seal. Fits in my wallet. Must be presented to Princess on demand. IMG_2112.jpeg

Just to be extra safe she should give it to her BFF to keep and give you her cell number to call and bring it over.

I wonder what humiliating thing her BFF will make you do in order to get that key?
