For you that have BW cages with PA, I see on both their website on many gallery photos that the PA extends the cages by a few mm. Is that ok, or does that have advantages? I just put in an order for BA-28 but was hesitant about it, as it flushes on my RC device.
It helps make it secure as you can’t unloop it over as it extends slightly past the bars. It works perfectly for me - but I have an unusual piercing.
1) on most devices the pin will rotate on it's screw mount if not mechanically prevented. the device you mention is different than most in that the pin is constructed differently, but just mentioning why you see the pin extended on various devices. 2) you kinda need that pee stream to follow the pin safely outside the device... think of it as your handy-dandy urine stream pointer.
Mine sticks out a few mm. I wear heavy mesh jockstraps everyday. I love it for the fact that I can basically position the cage exactly how I want it with the tip sticking through the jock.
Thanks, guys. It makes sense. I was comparing it to my Rigid device, where it is flushed. Nevertheless, my order with BAW was canceled as they are under so much load they can do more expedited orders as their backlog has grown beyond what they can do. I am also looking into Evotion Orion as a backup plan.
Your question appears to have been answered and I agree with what has been said so far. From my (Keyholder) perspective, I find the sight of the PA hook protruding from the cage to be very hot and it reassures me that I am in full and absolute control.
