I was just reading a Huffington Post article on the web and thought it might make an interesting topic of discussion here - especially given the fair range of (but not limited to) keyholder ladies and locked gentlemen. So I'm curious what the female users think I and the other men should be reading. High brow/low brow your call... The original post had 22 suggestions but we might be able to do better.
Anything by Carson McCullers but especially The Member of the Wedding. Madame Bovary - the complexity of human emotions is a wonderful thing. The Awakening - Kate Chopin - although I remain wholly ambivalent about the ending.
