Hello kinksters. I now have my Behind Barz a few months and I still have fitting issue... The belt itself is just fine, but there is a fitting issue that causes a reason why I have to put off the belt. Where the rod connects to the cage, it is irritating after a while. Just on the place where the rod starts it is gonna irritate after a while. I really want to wear the belt for a longer time, but just that little thing is holding me back to wear the belt for a longer time. Has anyone a solution for this?
It's really the piece between the cage and the rod. Specific the bracket and the first centimeter of the rod. That's what's makes the belt uncomfortable.
do you mean the bent part if so you can have it rebent outwards instead of inwards. Also on your rod have you got the slight bend in the rod near the bracket?
I did bend the rod a little bit near the bracket to the inwards. And the bracket on the cage you mean? it can also be bend?
yes the bracket was always originally bent inwards but some owners preferred it to be bent outwards it is very sturdy metal used but i have seen both methods used and it suits some to have it bent the opposite way. Your pictures show the rod fitted to your belt and in the one the rod is still poking up above the bracket i assume you cut off the excess after adjusting it?
The extended part of the rod on the belt I cut it off a few weeks ago. Would it be better when I bend the bracket outwards instead of inwards?
some prefer it that way they say it gives them a little more room so the bracket is further away from their body? i have mine inwards and dont have a problem but some have. Its all down to the individual body shape.
Okay thank you! And the cable string from BB is not on there website? And I can see clearly that the bracket is pointing upwards, it could be much better when it is straight backwards.....
just ask joe at behindbarz and he will tell you about them, they fit exactly the same as the rod but allow a little more room for movement
Thank you! I e-mailed Joe for the cable instead of the rod. I also did bend a little bit on the belt maybe this is better. Time will tell, but it looks a little as the picture you uploaded. This is the belt with the rod. This is how Joe made the bracket on my belt.
yes as you can see from the pictures your bracket turns down and outwards mine turns inwards. The bend in the rod as well is slightly different mine is a little more angled closer to the bracket though i know how tough it is to bend the rod without tools or a good solid vice. The belt does take time to get the shape just right but when its correct it really works well.
Last Friday I got the 2 new cable strings from Sam (Behind Barz). Took the belt off with the agreement of my (online) Mrs Celine and changed the steel rod for the the steel cable wire. Somehow the rod makes the belt fit a bit different, after the change the belt felt "different" to wear. I had to bent the cage a few times, but after a few days the overall fitting of the belt is much and much better. Also ht doing the #2 is more easier, just move the cable a little aside and sit on it. The belt itself stays just as rigid as with the rod, the comfortability is way batter. And that for just 15 GBP ex shipping.......
Glad to hear you are trying the cable adaption it certainly makes the belt even more flexible and able to be worn in many styles.
