    Hi everyone,
My husband is set to compete in a half marathon in a few weeks. He has no problem at all running in his chastity cage. It got me thinking - has anyone else here competed in any sport competitions while locked? He intends to do a full marathon in a year, and I was just wondering if he might be the first person to ever run a marathon in chastity :) Maybe there should be a special category - best time for men, women, chaste? hehe

I have dome two 5K's so far, but that's about it. Am thinking about an upcoming 10K in July.

and no issues with running in a device, right? I was honestly pretty surprised when it seemed to cause no issues for hubby.

I have done all kinds of things from mountain biking to triathlons while locked. I have had some problems mountain biking where a ball will pop out of the ring. That is really the only problem I've had. I think besides that, my only other issue is peeing while out training in remote areas. Learning to squat to pee was a new experience the first time I had to do it.

Yes, I just wore baggy mountain biking shorts for the event. I looked a little odd swimming in them, but I wasn't the only one not wearing tight shorts for the event. And it was only a sprint triathlon, so it wasn't super long.

No, no issues at all. The undies I wore are the 'pouch' type, so there was minimal flopping around.

Not only is it dangerous but cannot fit my cup over a chastity cage. As someone who played organized sports since the age of 8, I have taken many shots to the groin and would not want a cage there to drive into my body. Plus a testicle can pop out easily as I found out. I also carry a gun legally for self defense and I do not want anything that will interfere in my ability to protect myself. Twice I had to fight off muggers and I do not want to worry about a chastity cage.

I assume you don't wear a gun while running at a sport event

I took part in a cycle race caged. Am so used to the cage that I had forgotten to take it off.

I would welcome any advice on how to comfortably run in a chastity device. Despite trying multiple devices and trying things like jockstraps to provide additional support than what lined shirts provide, after a couple of miles miles everything seems to be burning “down there.”

What seems to work for me the best is body glide under the base ring as well as tight fitting briefs. It may also depend on the cage. I find the holy trainer to be the most comfortable for me above the cb6000 and jailbird.

I think the longest race I've done while locked is 5 miles, but I've done some 20+ mile runs while locked. Personally I'm not sure if I would stay locked for a marathon if it's up to me. I'm planning on doing one in the spring and I don't know if I'd want to risk any additional discomfort given how much I'll train for it and how many other things can go wrong during the course of a race.

I have done half marathons in my Jailbird but not a full. The trapped ball device always started chafing after 15 or so miles. With my tube device I have device be 30+ miles with no issues. Mountain biking in a trapped ball device is okay for a leisure pace but gets pretty uncomfortable after 20 or so miles. Unbearable if it’s cold out.

I’ve played and coached many baseball games while locked. Baseball is the only activity I’m allowed outside of the home. Certainly that is enough freedom, no way Goddess would allow me to participate in any activity outside the home while not locked. If I can not do it locked, then I won’t be allowed to do it. In fact, she usually plugs me before I have to coach a game as a reminder of my place. She likes knowing I’m plugged and locked while coaching a baseball game.

I have both played and coached hockey while locked up. A very supportive underwear is key to keeping things from getting bounced around too much.

I played competitive sand volleyball while locked up. I wore a second pair of boxer briefs for some added support with all the jumping and diving, but had no problems at all.

I don't do it, especially the motorcycle. I will say that since ditching the CB plastic series cages, Ive had more luck wearing a cage outside the house and now stay locked when out and about. I mainly wear a Chinese cage that's a small cup for a cage portion. With that one, I've never had a wayward nut. With the CB series, I've had to wear the 2nd largest accessory ring and have had ring breakages, and wayward nuts. I've also had several times where the cage was way too obvious under clothes. Even the small cage/big ring is like a rubicks cube stuffed into my pants. The stainless Chinese cage is low profile, I fit the 5" ring fine and no escaped balls. It is heavier than the plastic though, and peeing requires removal of the cage part for me. I recently discovered that I can avoid pinched skin with that one by pushing the flaccid penis in on itself and putting the tucked package into the cage/cap. Nothing to pinch of chafe. I can sit on the bike just fine with that one. The CB devices get jammed into my groin by the tank. Still, I wouldn't risk the motorcycle, and the potential fo rharm in a crash or distraction from potential sharp pain, or risk outing myself in a locker-room, and I'm not expected to. I do wear a glans ring as a symbolic chastity device during sports as a reminder though. My keyholder is pretty strict, but as she says.."You're not going to be jerking off in the middle of the rink are you?"

When I play basketball I wear compression pants so that plus the bikini briefs keeps everything in place and I don’t even realize I have the jailbird on

I don't compete, but I lift weights and in the warmer weather I do some road cycling. The cage that I wear is fine for lifting. Cycling is a different matter, especially when I'm riding lower on the handlebars. Not that you asked about bicycling, but the subject invariably comes up: I did switch to a more comfortable saddle, a Selle SMP. The "eagle beak" nose and the split design have made short distance cycling (say, up to 20 miles) manageable. I'll remove the cage for longer jaunts, because there's still too much adjusting and chafing going on.

Your husband would do well to get himself some compression shorts, and to smear some "bag balm" or similar lubricant around the cuff rings to prevent chafing. Hand lotions will break down quickly in the heat and sweat. Also, the shorts should make the constant bouncing more comfortable.
