Any urologists in the mansion?

    When my wife and I first got our curve, I had some pain from sleeping in it, and after an ultrasound, it turns out I developed what's called a varicocele. You know those varicose veins that people get in their legs as they get older? Well, those, but in my scrotum.

    Now, this is a fairly common thing for men (~15% develop it), and usually you just live with it. It can affect fertility, but the jury is out on whether it's serious enough to operate on it. And, it's not clear if it was caused by too tight a base ring on my curve, or just exacerbated by it.

    But here's my question for either a doctor, or better yet, a urologist. Can I make it worse by continuing to wear the device now that I've found the proper fit? Is it the type of thing where, once it's done, it's done, or are there complications to further restricting blood flow in the presence of a varicocele?

    I asked a urologist online, and not a kink friendly one, so his answer is what any good doctor's would be: "No research has been done on these devices, so I can't say anything other than you're stupid for wearing it, stop it you idiot." (I'm paraphrasing a little)

    But we all know on this site how hard it is to give this stuff up, so can any medical experts give me some more kink friendly advice? If you're just taking an educated guess, that's alright. Again, there's no research on any of this. I promise I won't sue you!

    Bump. Just found out my locked boy has the same problem:( He just got an ultrasound done today which showed a Varicocele. His Jailbird fits properly and is not restricting any flow when he is not aroused. Any input would be greatly appreciated as we both enjoy how chastity has enhanced our already great relationship!

    I'm not a medical professional, but many many men, me included, are locked in chastity with no problems. I would say no one knows your body better than you do. Make sure the device fits properly on you or your man and simply proceed with caution. Monitor it to see if it gets worse as a result of wearing the device. I don't think it necessarily means that you can't practice chastity if you aren't having problems as a direct result of the chastity.

    It's great to hear that you're not going to let him out of it so easily. You're getting stricter by the day. ;) Sorry, but if I have to be locked up and denied, I want as many other men locked up too lol

    Definitely in the watch and see what happens. I would think if it's not painful or getting worse then you will be ok.

    I guess for some if it gets to a Dr saying I am very sorry but we can't save them , best not to leap up and shout result !!

    It starts to hurt and swell after we play, so we have to remove the cage to relieve the pressure. He was actually the one who said that he likes our game too much to just quit it, and that he'd tell me if he can't handle it of if he is in pain. I was the one who gave him the choice to continue or not and he chose to continue ecause he likes what it is doing to our already wonderful relationship. Health and safety are my #1 priority, especially with the man I love!

    I have had a varicocele for around 40 years and apart from causing the odd ache when I was younger it never affected anything.
    I have always been able to see the lump but thought it was normal until I asked a Dr.
    Anyway when I first started wearing a CB I did get a little pain back which I suspect was caused by the increased pressure
    however that settled down quickly and now it does not cause any issues at all.
    I would be surprised if the CB caused the varicocele, I reckon you already had it just didn't know.
    And for what its worth it had no affect on my fertility.

    perhaps you can try playing only when he's restrained and unlocked, then ice him back up and lock him up.

    Sorry I might have seemed a bit flippant .
    The base ring is just a thin cock ring so his bits are going to swell and get more congested with blood as the return path is restricted.

    It may well be that playing unlocked is the best way . Edging him to within an inch of his sanity and then stopping is much safer if he is out of the base ring .

    Then either sit a wait or ice or very cold water and the weather forecast with a presenter who your boy is not attracted to , should work fine .

    Maybe try a wider base ring, less pressure on just one small area..... ?

    Hi, I would love to hear an update on your situation? I believe I might have one of these, my base ring seems almost loose and is half a size looser then I think my ideal size is, yet when wearing my device I notice a lump behind lefty.

    I've thought about asking my doctor but I'm afraid I'll get the same canned (don't sue me) response.

    I'm about to introduce my fiance to key holding but this is the sort of thing that would make her say a strong no and ban me from playing with chastity forever.

    Locked boy and I went to see a urologist. Turns out he had a mild varicocele in his left testicle that the cage exacerbated. We widened the gap between the base ring and cage, and now he is good to go. Been wearing it for 5 days with no problems since. I would still advise to consult a urologist just to be on the safe side, though.

    I have thought about that. It might be a healthier option due to less stress on the balls. for example the balls are relatively free in the ones from chastity belts USA. Personally I have not got my fiancé on board with chastity yet and think my holy trainer will be a softer intro to her then anything steel.

    This is an old post, I know.
    I have a grade 2 varicocele, and I suspect it to be close to be grade 3. It his quite important.
    I am curious to know if anyone found a solution solve this issue ?
    Any ideas ?

    I'm not a medical professional, but if you get it on your legs, supposidly compression socks mitigate the problem, so maybe you could use a something similar under the cage's cuff.
