    OK, I've GOT to respect the timeline info...I HATE pantyhose & try to never wear them unless they are thigh high, and then only for my own thrills or for my Lover maybe.

    I used to be the same way. Hated pantyhose. Now that I'm wearing them every day per my Keyholder I've begun to love them.

    Just got some hose from plus size pantyhose in the uk their motto is our sizes start where others stop. They come up to my chin. They are amazing , like a sleeping bag, I wake up straining in my cage

    For me the best thing about wearing pantyhose is the reactions I get from my husband and other men when I wear them in public. Once I found the right size and style comfort was no longer an issue, they are very comfortable. The ones I wear even are "full support" and after a long day on my feet make my legs feel better (bonus points for my husband for that since he found the correct size and style for me).

    When I wear them out in public with shorts I notice men smile at me more, hold doors open for me, look at my legs and generally show a lot of interest in me. Men were never interested in me before. One interesting thing I noticed was after my husband asked me to wear suntan pantyhose instead of nude colored hose men stare all the time and don't even try to hide it. They never realize that I've caught them staring because they never make eye contact with me. I don't really mind but I always point out these men to my husband to make him jealous. the other thing is that after switching to suntan pantyhose it seems other women sneer at me and are generally bitchier to me than normal. Women never seemed to notice the nude colored hose but suntan hose seem to attract women's attention like I had a spotlight on me. My husband doesn't seem to notice the women but he's generally oblivious to that sort of thing.

    But I digress. This is a post about Indiana so I'll bring it back on topic if I can...

    My theory about the reactions I get from wearing pantyhose in public is that here in Indiana women almost never wear pantyhose. Tights yes, but sheer pantyhose no. Those who do are usually overweight, elderly or pregnant and they wear compression hosiery. Not very sexy at all, but functional and necessary (I mean no disrespect to anyone in those categories). So seeing a middle aged woman of average looks wearing, and showing off, pantyhose is a novelty. Unless there at Hooters or looking at fetish sites online they never see a woman wearing pantyhose.

    Up until a year ago, I was in western central near the Illinios line ... now I moved to Texas ... however for the 13 years I was there I was on the road alot West/East Coast, Europe etc so in some ways it was a weekend home ... however it is good to see Hoosiers on the board!
