    Hello!

Has anyone had the experience of airport security while in the holy trainer? I ask only as I am expecting my new device soon. I would like to know if I should keep it on while I go out of town. I would like to keep it on.

I have worn mine through TSA before, but I removed the lock and then put it back in after security. Usually I just take the whole thing off, though, and put it back on after security.

I have a HT that I wear when on vacation I haven't worn it through customs yet but I'm going to soon if I have to go for a body search than I'm ok with that. The lock is just a tiny piece of metal it's not a weapon. I'm getting to the point in my life where it's ok if someone knows about my lifestyle it's not like we're hurting anyone. My cage is part of me

In Europe I wear my HTv2 without any issue. I wouldn't mess around wearing it in countries like the USA, anywhere in an Arabic country or somewhere like the Philippines. Basically anywhere with over the top security and aggressive border control guards.

If you swap to a plastic tag for security and the flight, I very much doubt you will have any issues. I wouldn't go through a padlock, but with a plastic tag, no problemo.... :)

The HTv2 doesn't have a padlock and the metal in the locking mechanism is brass and very small. I have been scanned by a handheld metal detector whilst wearing my device and there was no beep at all.

Cool Jasmic! Sorry, didn't realise the padlock was brass. No excuse then :)

The HTv2 is in my experience "scan safe". I've worn it through scanners in Brussels Airport, Amsterdam, Moscow (2 airports), UK (Manchester).
Especially the scanning in Moscow and Manchester airports is rather extensive and I passed without any alarm (even the kind of scanners where you have to stand in a cabin with your arms ad legs spread and the scanner goes around you and officiers look at a screen (don't know what exactly it is that they see on the screen).
For me it is my travel cage, otherwise I'm in small Chinese metal cage....(I reckon the latter one would set off alarms so I'm not even going to try that one).

I am flying to Italy later this week, from Germany. I have been told that I am definitely going to be locked.
