    I just wore my JailBird through airline security for the first time, at O'Hare n Chicago. I happened to have a lot of time before my flight so decided to give it a try. I mentioned to a TSA person while standing in line that I had "some body jewelry that might trigger the scanner". He was totally nonchalant and said to tell the TSA person when I was going through the scanner and that I would probably want top ask for a private pat-down. I did that.. Went through the scanner (not the metal detector). The guy on the other side wanted to look at my left wrist where I had my Apple Watch on but then waived me through. I have no idea whether they didn't detect the Jail Bird or just saw what it was on the scanner, but I just breezed through.

    After seeing the outline of my body being scanned on the screen in Denver a cpl years ago, I was glad I didn't have my cage on. It was my first time flying in several years and hadn't heard that they now have much better technology than just the old metal detectors. The fantasy of flying with just a plastic numbered lock quickly diminished! I was def glad I had chosen not to wear mine but I almost did!! I would've died of embarassment lol. It's a good thing you gave them a heads up. I wonder how many times they've seen chastity devices by now? Sounds like the guy in your situation didn't even bat an eye. Maybe cock cages are becomming the norm?

    It all centers around how embarrassed you are about wearing a chastity device. I am lucky in that I am not worried one little bit about it, especially as the people who would find out are complete strangers and I am unlikely to ever see them again.

    That said there are places in the world I would not wear a device. Malaysia, Phillipines, for instance. American TSA agents are renowned for having no sense of humor but in my experience the border guards in those places are openly hostile.

    I was just recently through airport security and they found a button on my pants ( the extra button that are attached to the pocket) and all that came up was a big yellow box. he asked me what its was and i showed him. i don't think very many airports if any have the actual human image on the screen since the screen is out in the open in most airports now. I say wear chastity thru TSA it will make for a funny story later if you have to show whats under your pants...

    I went through with my looker 2 in Australia, there is a full account of it here somewhere, it was hilarious.

    Love the idea. But with all the worries of national security, isn't there a strong possibility TSA could simply deny you from flying?

    The TSA blog has an entry stating that a chastity belt is allowed so I think the chance of being denied boarding us low I did have my emergency key just in case I was prepared to get a pat down and show my device if need be.

    Why on earth would the TSA deny you the right to fly?

    They're there to prevent terrorism, not to prevent kinksters who have paid for their tickets from flying.

    OK I will be honest, the first time, while it ended up being hilarious, it was a bit daunting... I did call airport security and ask them ...and even that phone call was rather embarrassing...But I was told there would be no problem, that should tell them before I go through that I will set off the detector

    There is no way that a metal cage can be used as a weapon, on or off your body...while they have to identify what the object is, there is no reason to stop you from flying.

    Really the justification for unlocking before flying is not there, there is zero chance they would stop you from flying.
