Hi, My Mistress wants me to buy a Jailbird. Of course I bought the sizing rings from mature metal. I have almost finished the sizing. Base ring: 1 3/4" ( it is snug, i can put one finger in) Cage Diameter: 1 1/4 " (when I put my dicklet inside the sizing ring, it touches the side everywhere without feeling tight) Cage Length: shortest measurement is 86 mm = 3.4 inch. What cage length should I order? Should I buy an oval or round ring ? Is it wise to buy an extra ring a bit smaller or bigger ? Thanks in advance! X Nikki
Hi Nikki, If 3.4 inches is your smallest measured flaccid length, I would recommend 3” or maybe even think about 2-7/8” or 2-3/4”. MM suggests going a quarter inch shorter but I think even smaller is better, within reason. I like oval for the base ring, and there seems to be general consensus that it’s more comfortable. As to the extra base ring, I think it’s a good idea to get it if you’re going with a double ring, because they can’t be resized (and also to avoid sending it back to get a new ring made). If you do, go smaller for the second one because you’re more likely to want to reduce once you’re used to wearing it. Good luck and let us know when it arrives!
I have ordered my jailbird! Length 2 3/4" Cage Diameter 1 1/4 Base rings: 1 11/16" oval, 1 11/16 round, 1 5/8 oval. Now the waiting begins!
Having the shortest possible cage that contains your flaccid penis will be the best for you in the long run. I know that, for many guys, this sounds terrible, but having a short cage actually prevents erections from starting and better controls things. It is very painful to become erect and then have it contained very harshly. Nobody needs that.
I own a half dozen custom devices and the JB is the one I keep coming back to. A little baby oil gel morning and night and I can wear it indefinitely. I prefer the round ring but that is just personal preference. Good luck!
