The fact that it sounds like you are living in a small community adds some extra 'holy-crap' to the situation but as people have mentioned, I am sure she has seen far worse stuff in her time. Plus, she may not have understood what it actually was.

On a related topic, I was away in another country staying in a hotel. I had my Mature Metal Jailbird with me but had taken it off to clean. My plan was to put it back on but realized breakfast was closing soon so I rushed down to eat. I was only gone about 20 minutes but when I got back the cleaner had come (they came super early that morning) so had cleaned up my room with my jailbird sitting proudly on the desk in full view. Something similar happened to us during our honeymoon stay at a resort. It was in 2017, we were staying in this nice beachside resort that had individual cottages in Mauritius.
