A different kind of base?

I’m just thinking of making my own belt, there is one idea I’m considering. I’m sort of thinking out loud but if anyone has an idea or relevant experiences, please let me know.

The bit that I hate on most devices is the testical ring, it’s either too tight, too loose, hurts and is where I can slip out of or slip a finger in.
I was looking at strapon harnesses, the kind which leave the vagina exposed for oral, two straps which go either side of the sex organs and end up in the crease/leg joints.
If the cage was somehow secured to the straps in the leg creases, wouldn’t that be much more secure? Or would that become too uncomfortable when sitting etc?
