Today I went running for the first time with the new belt (spaceless female + total system). My normal daily route is a relatively short 5.5 miles, so I wasn't too worried. As it turned out, there was of course some chafing and pain, but I was amazed at how well I was able to run with solid steel so tight around me. I have some plans to help a bit next time, but what a relief - I was seriously worried I would not be able to. Anyway, here are some pics of how it looked on/under my running outfit - works out quite well I think. Guess there's no need to remove it then... Anyone else exercise often with a belt?
I have exercised with a cage but never a belt. Running is my least favourite activity to do with a cage on....I just really worry about injuring myself because of subtle changes that might be happening in my form to adjust for the device. That's the main concern....not so much an acute injury from it as I can anticipate those I think.
I can exercise fairly normally in my belt. However the weight of it becomes uncomfortable unless I have the right supportive underwear.
I’ve run with a cage many times... but once, for some reason, the padlock started rattling with each step! I always wore underpants under my shorts after that! Now after a modification that design flaw has been eliminated I wouldn’t like to run in my belt, I think it would chaff between my legs Your photos look Superb
Fantastic photos! You look amazing. 5.5miles is inspiring. I’ve never had any issues running in my cage. My belt took a little getting used to. I found that supportive undies and spandex keeping flesh from thighs away from metal made all the difference in the world.
Nice you can run with the cage, it remind me I need also to run again..... But does nobody sees it or guess it? I guess thay won't say a thing but it look so thin cloth.
Congratulations! I would of expected more chaffing, must be down the the quality of the belt, and I agree, I don’t see why it should have to come off now!
I've had mixed results doing exercise while caged. Sometimes it's fine but have experienced some chaffing of my glans from openings in the cage.
There is definitely some chaffing, but with some appropriately placed fabric and adjusting how I run, it's not too bad. The harder issue is actually the pressure on the front of the waist from the band!
Adjusting how you run can have a bad effect on your joints if you do it long enough. Something to consider.
