Looking for that sweet spot for lockup times...

I’m older in my 50s but five days after orgasm I feel the horniness returning so I would think for me every 10 to 12 days.
Also, if the wife Girlfriend is involved, that could shorten the time,

 

There are at least two things and you seem to have conflated them;

1. being locked
2. not orgasming (which includes ejaculating, in my view)

You can be locked and still orgasm and ejaculate as much as you like.

You can be free of a cage and not orgasm.

If you want the latter then you'll find it a lot easier without a sex toy attached to you all the time.

My experience, having just reached a year without orgasm or ejaculation, suggests longer is better.

I'll also add that, in my experience, it is far easier to go without orgasms without the cage. Sure, it requires self-control, which for a lot of men nowadays is a superpower, but even with a cage, it ultimately boils down to self-control.

 

I don't really know how to answer your question as I don't seek thrills and while I am insanely horny and I would love an orgasm, I also don't want one because something else has replaced the relentless and endless cycle of craving->orgasm->craving->orgasm...

I turned down the volume on all my dopamine inputs some time ago and now I feel pure joy by waking up and hearing the cacophany of birds in the morning, or seeing a ringlet of hair on my girlfriends neck, or seeing the buds of spring appearing, or just simply stopping what I am doing and being in the moment and feeling the rush of cold air enter my nostrils and the warm moist air leaving.

Gotta say, long term semen retention changed my perspecive on what joy and pleasure are.

 

Sounds like a real challenge, probably like walking was, or talking, learning to read and write, drive a car, etc.

Still, it's not for everyone since it is hard work and does require immense amounts of self-control and focus.

 

I average 10 to 15 day lockups. Not usually more then 20 days or so. Depends on what's going on we plan around that. Just did 10 days got a day out then back in for another 10 till our hotel room/night out. Then start another month I suppose.

 

Watching porn seems counterproductive to your goal if we're being honest here.

 

Just seems what gets in your way of reaching your goals is watching porn and not staying caged. Do it your way, not a judgement but change those two things you can almost certainly reach those goals if they're important to you. I'll tell you what I tell my wife with good intentions. Though you'll hate it just like she does. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result.

 

Do it your way, there is no one way. Also it's entirely up to you being you self lock. If you are serious about certain goals though recognizing what's stopping you from reaching them is important.

 

I stay caged so it's a non issue for me. If I'm doing 15 days whatever it's entirely with cage on. Then I generally get a day to get off all I want then it's back on before bed. If I'm really lucky I'm given the choice to sleep without it.

 

You find the right cage won't need to take it off at all to shower or sleep. The vice enclosed cages don't seem ideal for cleaning. Anything not stainless or closed I tend to avoid so it doesn't have to come off at all for long periods

 

That shocking cage on way is a resin/plastic cb knockoff but that will only be short term wear. I don't think short of custom you ever find a perfect fit. You get really close to it and get used to the little aspects you don't like.
