Bathing is good, and helps to remove the sweat and urine that ends up inside the cage. Showering is good, although it's better to flush the cage with a plastic squeeze bottle as well. A hand-held shower nozzle might be even better.
hand held shower is a must, with lots of soap. W/we bathe with big natural sponges so i squeeze lots of soapy water through it first. i also lube twice a day with baby oil on a q-tip...after my morning shower and before bed.
k..i never do more than towel dry the outside and wait for the rest to air dry before lubing...oil displaces water.
use hiar dryer,,,but another good thing is to air it out walk around with no panties on between the hair dryer and walking bare bottom like having breakfeast works fine for me when i can do that q tips baby oil also
I will occasionally use Q-Tips to absorb extra water after a shower, but more often let it air dry. I've never experienced any negative issues from that.
I ill use Q-tips to for the excess water and I dry around the cage and the slot on the end of the cage with my bath towel after drying off. I also let the air do the rest of the drying before I get dressed it works pretty good.
