    Expectations lead to dissapointment, anxiety, and animosity, and should be avoided at all costs.

    Just enjoy the experience, focus on the present moment rather than what you expect to happen in some fantasised future.

    My universal expectation of the hypothetical keyholder would be that they hold my key.

    My specific expectations of a given keyholder would be completely dependent on the identity of that keyholder and our relationship therein.

    For once you two!

    Yet this so true. Its one of my biggest failings, even routine can lead to expectation.

    Its taken a long time to get control of it, and it still peeks through now and then.
