I go diving next week (Thailand). I think I won't need a wetsuit due to the temparature here. Would it be safe to go diving with a chastity cage? Do I miss something like the use of straps which could be uncomfortable?
With that kind of activities i should unlock. I paraglide and when i go fly the cage is off for safety.
I have dove in Tahiti and I agree you probably won't need a wetsuit. As for a cage, you probably would be ok with one, without straps, but if something does go awry, it would be difficult to remove with all the other gear on at depth. I wouldn't.
I can't imagine what scuba gear would be going between your legs during a dive. I'm PADI Advanced Open Water certified and nothing comes close to my groin during dives. I can't admit to diving with a chastity cage recently so if I'm missing something, I'm not sure what might be concerning. Now there is the concern about having prolonged salt water inside your locking mechanism so if you do wear it, rinse it out with fresh water and maybe add a few drops of oil to the lock.
I might try it indeed. I go to do a re-course as it is many years ago. First day is just two hours in shallow water so I could see how it goes. With lock I use screws so that wouldn’t be an issue.
I agree about the lock and the salt water! But a plastic cage and plastic lock shouldn’t be a problem.
