International Male Chastity Day 2020

I’ll be locked, but not specifically for male chastity day. I’ll speak to my KH about it. I’m sure she would happy to keep locked to Valentines Day

 

There seem to be two Male Chastity Days: 14th January and 15th February.

I plan to celebrate (yes, celebrate) both of them, especially as 15th Feb is my husband's birthday.

 

Although my husband is already caged more or less permanently, perhaps we will celebrate January 14 with some teasing/torturing, like stimulating him with a vibrator through the cage. Does anyone have any other ideas for celebrating International Male Chastity Day when the male is already caged?

Seems that the correct date is 15th Feb but I like the suggestion that guys should be locked for I month ending on that date. One month would, of course, be just a minimum lock-up period!

 

I didn't know this was such a point of contention in previous years. I guess I'm okay with February 15th being the official date, but that doesn't mean January 14th and other calendar dates commonly associated with lockup & release can't also hold significance in the community...

Community-Wide Dates:
- January 1st - New Year's Day
- January 14th - 1 Month Until Valentine's Day
- February 14th - Valentine's Day
- February 15th - International Male Chastity Day
- October 1st - Start of Locktober
- November 1st - End of Locktober, Start of No-Nut November
- November 25th - 1 Month Until Christmas
- December 1st - End of No-Nut November, 1 Month Until New Year's
- December 25th - Christmas Day

Couple-Specific Dates:
- 1 Month Until Sub's Birthday
- Sub's Birthday
- 1 Month Until Anniversary
- Wedding Anniversary

 

International Male Chastity Day should be February 14th, not January 14th or February 15th. Celebrating Valentines day without an expectation of sex or at least sex focusing on the man making his partner happy is a lot better than a random day in January or February.

I should also note that No Nut November accomplished infinitely more to spreading the idea of abstaining from masturbation than International Male Chastity Day or Locktober ever has.

 

I swear, every time I see this thread I remember the International Male catalog.

Unless we rush into things, I don't thank that I'm goin to become a key holder by February 15th. However, I've been doing research and Locktober sounds like a good target starting date.

 

Taking things slow is good, but I would suggest multiple short term lock ups first so that both you and your partner are comfortable with things before attempting something like Locktober. Unless your partner has some experience with chastity and has figured out the cage situation, he'll likely have to go through multiple before finding one he's comfortable with.

 

Agreed. I've dealt with people who wanted to go from 0 to 60 regarding certain types of play, and it never ends well. The fact that I haven't been part of a play-related emergency room trip yet simply proves that I was born under a lucky star. eek.

 

Luckily, chastity is unlikely to send someone to the emergency room unless they buy an unusual cage (something with spikes or a urethra insert) or they ignore the excruciating pain and numbness of wearing too small of a cage or base ring. That pain being very distinct from the pain of waking up with an erection in a cage that is too big.

 

We are very new to chastity. After work on the 13th my wife put on the cage and told me she heard today was Male Chastity day. I will be wearing it all day today for her and looking forward to seeing her tonight.

 

I think the idea is that you wear your cage until 14th Feb!

Yes, indeed. Why not? It would complement Locktober.

 

It varies and I have seen references to the 30 day lockup or just the day instead of Valentines. This keeps Valentines as its own event/day.

I surprised her this morning locked and sealed with a love note. We normally lock me on Tuesdays now but this was a fun twist.

 

Yesterday (Jan. 14) was no different than any other day for me....locked!

As far as the month from the January Male Chastity Day until Valentine's Day (Feb. 14) or the February Male Chastity Day (Feb. 15), I fully expect to be locked.....not to mention being locked beyond that point, indefinitely.

it would seem that this year Holy trainer have jumped on the bandwagon and chosen the incorrect date to promote.

You might think they would do their research as they should be a bit more cautious when ripping of someone else’s idea as it’s happening to them all the time

Most of us have seen January 15, February 15, and even March 15. Who gets to say which one is correct without some kind of official sanction? The only way to making anything even unofficially correct is the support of the people in the community.

If we can't agree on a date, then it falls on some of the manufacturers to heavily promote some given datez and hope everybody follows along.

 

Ideally, isn’t every day male chastity day? I feel there are issues with it being one month before V-day. Locking up for a straight month on your first go is going to led to problems and puts undue pressure on the new keyholder for valentines. In my opinion, IMC day should be an opportunity for newbies to dip their toes into the world of chastity. Why not March 7th? Three weeks after Valentines and the day before International Women’s Day.

 

I agree but about it being difficult but I just completed one month in chastity without an ejaculation on Sunday. This is our first time trying chastity.
