I'm just wondering the length of time that you can go without any orgasm or ruined orgasm? My wife loves me being locked up because it helps me be a better man to her, but she has no interest in doing anything sexual because she had a hysterectomy a few years ago. I can usually make it about three weeks before I get a sharp pain in the area of my bladder. It feels like gas and I assume its from my prostate but I'm not sure. You ask How long... you may potentially get multiple replies from most that respond to you mostly saying "it depends..." Lots of different things to depend upon too. The same can be said for "How long is too long?" Nobody else can really answer those questions for you. If you have any relevent say in this I'd suggest stretching out the time between orgasms slowly if thats where you both want to go.. Some can only go a few hours at a time and some are resigned to knowing thay have already had their last orgasm you two need to work out what works best for you both preferably without being afraid to make a few mistakes.

As you can see how long you can go without an orgasm varies with the relationship. Realistically you could be permanently locked and Never have the cage removed . That is if your cage fits properly and you can properly clean your self. As the others mentioned, many of us go locked up indefinitely. I have been into chastity since the mid 90"s when thanks to the internet the equipment was made available. In those early days I had some cages that the space between the cage and ring was too narrow, I could go a few weeks but then would develop a pain in my testicles, I could feel some swollen tissue inside. As soon as I was unlocked it went away. Now I wear custom cages from rigid and Lori with extra space for the testicles and I can go seemingly forever. Since your pain only occurred locked, I doubt a doctor could diagnose the cause.
I have read that going more than 30 days without the prostate getting a milking or a orgasm is not healthy for the prostate. Like UNLUCKY said, I think I would see a Doctor.
I recently had a yearly checkup and they said that everything is fine. I didn't know if three weeks was about the limit that your body could go without any type of ejaculation. I was just picturing my prostate filling up like a water balloon and pushing against my other organs. Also the first time or two the orgasm is kind of painful but after that everything feels good. But I'm thinking that my body is just trying to get used to going from three or four orgasms a day from masturbating, down to three or four times a month with three weeks inbetween. We've only been doing this for about four months so maybe it will go away.
My personal best was 56 days.............just shy of our goal of 60 days, 2 full months. My wife was deeply disappointed when I accidently ejaculated during teasing. My personal best is 145 days, with no pain at all during any of it except for some sore spots at the very end from my cage. Looking back, I probably should have kept going much longer without the cage. Once you're that far, you might as well keep it rolling. If I'm heavily teased for a while (over a couple days) I develop a soreness in my lower back that subsides within a couple hours of an orgasm.
