 Woke up this morning to the normal pull of "morning wood" tugging at my holy trainer base ring and a slight pain I have already felt once before.... my right ball slipping under the ring! Hurt just as bad this time as it did the last time! Last time it did it I switched from a 45mm base ring down to a 40mm and that seemed to work for a few months.

I can only think of a few things that may have caused this one maybe a bit to much Vaseline to help against chaffing and or body heat build up causing the ring to flex just enough to let it slip out. Thing that bugs me is I recently placed an order for an Evolution s wearable with a 40mm ring and 10mm ball gag, I will be really frustrated if my little escape artist can slip out of it!!! (Those cages are NOT CHEAP!!)

This whole thing has got me starting to think about a Prince Albert piercing and an EW cage with a prong! If any of you who have those could share your experiences and any advice I'd be grateful to have your opinions. :)

I switched to a metal cage as soon as my lock-ups became longer than a month.
Most issues I had with plastic: slippage, cleaning, danger of splitting; went away.
Yes, they are expensive; but mine has been trouble-free, and I'm not even considering a replacement, so it would be money well spent.

I've had a PA piercing for 5years. Compared to my nipple piercings, it was relatively painless getting it done, and it healed quickly. Getting the gauge up to a size useful to use for locking will take time, though - years. I sized up slowly, and reached 0g, but I went back to 2g.

    Pierce
    Push

There are a couple extensive reports on getting a PA. I wrote one in January.
