    Why do people feel that male chastity has to be about punishment, pain and female superiority?

    There are quite a few on here who started chastity for exactly the same reasons you did. I think you will find that many new to the fetish post about other areas that are also part of their life.     What Mistress Jules said is correct - I'm the one who initiated chastity in our relationship, and it's not for punishment or slavery or even being submissive.     I have a different take on chastity: It's actually HEALTHY to limit the amount of ejaculation in a male. Many schools (Taoism, Brahmacharya, as two examples) believe that the male should strictly limit the amount he ejaculates. And chastity is a good way for a couple to attain that goal.
