Impotence?

Everyone's body is different and reacts differently to wearing a device. As long as your device is fitting correctly and you're able to slip a finger between the ring and your penis there is generally enough room for blood flow etc. when I first started wearing devices over 3 years ago I had some of the same fears of impotence initially. I would get worried and then when I was allowed out I'd try to get an erection and it would be soft. I think my problem was is I would psych myself out that there was a problem when there was none and therefore couldn't get hard all the way. When my mistress would play with me I would come back to full hardness. You will notice some changes the longer you practice chastity and the key is to take things slow and make sure what you're doing is safe. Wear your device every other day for a week and then the next week go for 2 days in a row and keep progressing to more days as the weeks go by and you feel more comfortable and confident in your device.

 

I have experienced that, but only after a few months of continuous lock up. One day really shouldn’t have any effect. I’m guessing it’s psychological.

but on topic .. I have experienced this before, but only for a few hours after a lock-up period. Went back to normal quickly.

I am hard as the cage comes off. By the time my ring comes off it is a challenge just getting past the head.

 

Haven't had a problem in the last 2 years, and the cage I wear most days of the week allows for no erections or growth. I have found on occasion it can take a little longer to get fully hard, but that is a very temporary situation.

 

Never had that problem either. After my longest lock up which was 4 months, as soon as the cage came off I was hard.
Maybe the 'hardness' was not totaly 100%, but maybe 90%, but after 30 minutes to an hour there was no more difference.

 

Haven't experienced any trouble. Like @Queensbitch said, i'm typically instantly hard and have trouble getting the ring off.

 

a few days after only a day locked seems quite a lot, to be honest. I've found some difficulty, but it didn't last days.

 

I've had this problem after a couple days locked, I couldn't get it up for sex right after release, but middle of that night I woke up with a raging erection. Maybe partially physical, partially psychological...

 

I seem to have this as a problem and then the more I think about it, the bigger the problem becomes. I think it starts with getting arrosed when confined which provides stimulation in its self. When this physical sensation is removed, it's one less input into my brain. I then pleasure my wife but find I'm thinking about this so much my own erection dies down, which it always has, but I'm then very aware off this and over think! I used to start getting hard as my wife reached climax, knowing my turn was next, but that doesn't seem to always be the case now - ether from over thinking or hoping she will lock me up again!
It's actually putting my wife off chastity as she likes PIV sex and is blaming chastity for my issue :-/

 

Impotence is mostly psychological.

As I am not allowed attempts at getting erect when out for hygiene maintenance and have been only allowed time in which to have two erections since this no unauthorised attempts rule was introduced the challenge I usually face is not one of not being able to get hard but is one of controlling the desire to do so when not authorised.

 

This is real, essentially performance anxiety, which is circular and sell-reinforcing. Unless you desire this result, which it sounds like you don't, you might consider stopping with the cage and going honor system until you and your wife get you mojo back.
