It would be an interesting time when you can go to the store for simple things like shave cream, a razor and a Chastity cage and no one gives you a second look. This may take a couple years but who knows.

 

Good bad or indifferent I think the porn industry plays a significant role in this. Personally I think it creates a lot of misinformation about the subject but in my case after I stumbled onto it I went out and did some research and that kinda opened the door to where I am now

Reality check - the majority of women think that men in chastity is weird, and would rather be fucked by a manly hard cock than denying it. I would agree that there's a long way to go before chastity is mainstream and there is a difficulty of perception /understanding for many women, but we may be closer than we think. I do agree with you that many consider it weird but many new things are considered weird until an understanding is found. I don’t consider a locked clock to be necessarily unmanly. I totally agree with you. Unfortunately the problem with male chastity porn is it usually shows some poor guy whimpering while his mocking wife is getting some extremely well hung guy to take her or forced to be dressed up and laughed at by her and her friends. Mainstream? Maybe not, more popular? Most definately. I remember years ago there were very few choices in devices easily found. Cb was all i could come up with (and didnt care for due to comfort issues and hygiene as much as i wanted to like it).
Now you can get them all over the place, amazon included and even the knock off metal cages are decent.

Bingo-this is reality. Right now, male chastity is LESS accepted by the mainstream than is same sex marriage.

However, I believe thats because of one major problem: It's misunderstood. Many people think of chastity only as a gay male thing or BDSM or both, because it is often portrayed as such in pornography. Therefore, many mainstream people consider it a taboo.

In reality, there are many ways to incorporate male chastity into sexuality that do not involve pornography, BDSM, or anything else that may be considered deviant from the mainstream.
