I found this cool little Extension in Google Chrome that will track the number of days you’ve been locked up. For me, it’s a nice inconspicuous reminder of my surrender to Me Lovely while at work or anytime I’m online. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/calendar-and-countdown/caplfhpahpkhhckglldpmdmjclabckhc
My initial reading of your post made me run and grab this extension but then I couldn't figure out how to make it count the time passed. It kept wanting to countdown to the future. You even posted a snap of your number (as a negative value) but did I see that? No. Handy tool now that I understand it, I'm going to give it a shot. I'm currently at -35 as displayed on my browser. (internal monologue: I'm going to need a story for when someone sees that and wants to know what it means. Idea: temperature buoy in the very north Atlantic to measure ice formation!)
It is a handy little tool. It also has a secondary date counter. I set mine to the day we entered into our FLR Agreement. I don’t anticipate anyone asking about it, but I like your ideas of having a scripted answer, just in case.
I installed this when I read the post and BOY does it keep it top of mind when I'm working throughout the day. There is a little green number in the corner of every web page and tool that I use and I'm waiting for someone to ask me what it is. Great suggestion. @MeLovelysSub
I still have it installed as well. All last week, I led my executive morning meeting and displayed my screen. No one asked the question. But, since you mention it in your previous post, I’ve given it some thought. I’ll simply say, “It marks a special event in my life and acts as a daily reminder of where I stand.”
I have an app on my phone called 'Days Counter' you set an event up and specify a past date. The day I was locked. It then counts the time from then on, in years months weeks and days or any combination of these. Its important to keep track of time and be reminded. I can instantly tell my KH when asked. I was downsized 7 days ago and now have a counter that says how long in the smaller cage, while the original counter, above, tells total time locked.
If you have Android, we like the "Days Matter" app. You can put a widget icon on your screen that shows how many days from the start date. You can add multiple dates, counting up or down, so you might count up from your lockup day, and also count down to your next birthday, presuming you might or might not get unlocked then! It's ad free as well! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clover.daysmatter
