I would prefer physical punishment (to a degree) from emotional punishment. When my queen gets really angry with me, or stops talking to me etc., I find that worse.
My punishment is invariably Humiliation! I have 2, the first was emotional. I was implicated in a lie that spun out of control and I was an innocent victim.
