In the last few months I've met a wonderful woman! She is open-minded and always horny! I introduced her to chastity! At first it was a funny joke but now she's keeping me locked to push my limits! Looks like I created a monster! Last night she had me lock up and for the first time she took both keys! It's a whole different feeling when you have zero control! Has anybody else ever been without an emergency key and how does it feel! She has hidden the key in the house before but I knew it was here somewhere this is a whole different ball game! She's just extended my lock up by 3 days for begging!
I'm not trusted with a key, although when my Mistress went on holiday she left the key with a vanilla friend who she has confided many embarrassing things that were done to me. In a real emergancy its only a small lock which can be cut or broken easily, its that we don't wish to do that that gives control to our Dommes.
I never have access to a key. I know it is in the house, but I have no idea where. Nor, IMVHO, should I. This is about surrendering total control. Information is power, and the information about where the key to HER cage is, is hers because she has the power. Long may she continue to exercise it.
All they keys plus tools necessary to open the rings through my PA are locked in a box. Only she can unlock the bluetooth lock. Hence I have no 'emergency key'. If there is a real emergency I have to call her with a convincing story.

Even though I can’t use it with out evidence, I still have a key and always have the option to use it if I get too frustrated. At times, M has taken my spare key. I had no way to open the device. Any escape would have to be negotiated with M. That had a more intense feeling. We have discussed the need for emergency keys. Some argue the locked guy should always have an emergency key. I’ve argued that the window of risk is fairly small. Only a limited number of incidents would create immediate need to remove the device. That said: I just had an emergency hospitalization where I did need to have the device off. M was with me to unlock it before going to the hospital - my key was never needed. An emergency key adds some safety but if the intensity of not having a key significantly adds to your chastity experience I don’t think the risk is very large.
No emergency key and no access to key unless granted by my wife. She asked the other day what if something terrible happened to me and you couldn't get out. We discussed getting an emergency key and freezing it in a large block of ice. In the end we decided as long as I know a key is hidden in the house I'll find it eventually in an emergency so we stuck with the status quo of no access.
My Wife(KH) has both keys. One around her neck and the other one she has hidden in the house some where...I guess. For the first few months, I wouldn't go out without her and her key. Now, for fun, she sends me to do the shopping or other chores by myself, without a key. The first couple of times I was very nervous but realized as soon as I left the driveway I got hard in my cage. I told my Wife this and she got a good laugh out of it. Now, just to tease me, she makes me go get 1 or 2 things at the store just to see me suffer. This just adds to the power she has over me and the control of anything I want to do with any type of orgasm. She knows it and loves it...
I have an emergency key. I'm a cyclist and frequently out and about where she's not available. I had to use it once.
Last year, Mrs Edge and I discussed the possibility of her having the only keys. We both found it pretty exciting, but she got a little nervous when the potential realities started downing on her; she insisted that I have one available.
No emergency key for me either. My wife is so relaxed about it now she never mentions the key, she doesn't like carrying it with her so whenever we travel away from home it's always without the key. She knows that I know numerous ways of breaking a small padlock so she doesn't have any concerns that I wouldn't be able to remove the device if I had to - but with a damaged lock I wouldn't be able to hide it.
My kh/wife has both keys to her steel ht3 Chinese cage with integrated lock. I am a handy person but no way am I going near that with a drill lol. I don't get to touch the key. We have a spare lock which I and her have a key to so when I lock up she just changes the lock to the one that she has both keys too. And gives me the other barrel lock back. I get 24 hours freedom roughly every week or so. Off the top of my head tho I cannot think of one emergency where I would need a key. And if I was in a major accident or similar I'm sure my mind would be on other things other than feeling embarrassed about being caged. Whilst probably surrounded by my wife/kh and family. So after all said and done. There is no need for an emergency key for me at least anyway. And it certainly adds to the frustration, excitement and all the other feelings that come with being chaste if u don't have one
I do not have a key at all. In a real emergency I'm sure my Jailbird could be cut off in the emergency room if necessary. I sure hope that never happens. That would be a four hundred dollar device wasted.
Thanks for the responses! I'm currently back locked after my record 7 days! Michelle stashed my keys somewhere in the garage! It really is a whole different feeling when I know the key isn't even here! She told me there are no safe words and Chastity or it wouldn't be Chastity if you got out whenever you wanted! I must say I agree with her!
That was one of my problems when first trying to get the wife involved. I finally figured it out that it's ALL about her and that is when my world changed for the better.

And once again locked up but this time she did not give me a release date! She does have both keys though! She did mention I have to break my record but I don't know if that's 8 days or what? I'm going to have to get pretty Charming cuz she's getting pretty tough!
