I have been wearing a chastity cage for a few months now, cheap knock off from aliexpress.

No matter how hard I try and keep it clean, it still smells bad and has to be unlocked for a thorough cleaning.

Some comments here say metal cages deal better with odors but since I'm going through a metal detector every day, I was wondering if there are other alternatives which are not too expensive.

Would love to hear some suggestions, thanks!

I found the knock offs tend to smell as they use a much cheaper plastic compared to the real thing. But the reality is if left unwashed it’s gonna smell down there, a more open metal cage can help as you can wash easier, and metal does tend not to pick up odours like plastic does. But I still had smells with one, cherry keeper do a wide range of cages and rings all plastic and there reasonably priced to.

I heard titanium is harder to pick up for metal detectors but not sure if it's true

It is true. My Titanium device has never set off a metal detector anywhere. It is also very low mass as it is tube only. However, it costs four figures.

Four what? In which part of the four figures?
It seems very expensive to me.

I have two schandmaske tube only devices from Steelwerks Extreme. Telling you what mine costs would be unfair to Chris because your custom features will be different than mine. He does custom bespoke devices and in a tube only device fit has to be perfect (friction is required to prevent pressure on your PA piercing). The machining time on these devices is significant and they are worth every penny.

Titanium is the perfect element to use for a cage, the downside is cost and time to wait for it. If you can splurge I highly recommend BAW...

And if he can wait. I ordered my titanium BA-21 at 18th of October, which is couple of days more than 8 weeks. Order is still "Awaiting shipping".

In the website it says "
So, 3 months + delivery + customs. Easily stretched to 4 month.

I didn't know titanium does not trigger the metal detectors. My plan was to keep my K3D and HT5 as travel cages when my BA-21 arrives. Great news that I may not need to switch cages when I travel.

To be fair I did say a downside was time to wait for it...

You could have a Cherry Keeper as it's plastic and open. Comes with with a brass lock or you can put plastic in there to lock/seal up. I wear one for travelling. However, modern airport security is looking for a mass rather than metal. IMHO as I have been stopped twice and you could see a round shape around my bits on the screen. We all smiled and moved on

I travel alot and I must say I am happy with my Cobra. Fit great, easy to clean, does not smell and with the plastic lock it comes with I have never had issues with airport security
