I'm looking for a solution that does not require a lot of equipment.... maybe someone knows of one of those home repair products that I could use to draw a couple bars...? Or if there was a malleable ring I could bend that around the bars that are already there...

Warning...anything malleable enough to work with easily, or is a compound that adheres will more than likely contain lead, as well as other materials that are not safe for every day skin contact.

The easiest thing I'm aware of is JB Weld ... it is an Epoxy available in a clay like consistency that has different additives (metal etc.) and slightly different variations for the different ways of using it ... but as Nicoftime stated ... it may not be safe for daily (all day) skin contact.

To be honest unless you can or know someone who can weld what you believe to be stainles steel I would think it to be a better investment of time money and effort if you were to seek a new device that addresses the issues you have with your current device.
