I have been away from CM for a few months and last time I was on Ms Amanda had only just returned from her self imposed exile. Now I come back and find she has not only been banished but almost every trace of her has been deleted.
I am sad again that she is no longer around and even sadder if she was kicked out and deleted after so long at CM.

I miss Her a lot as well and I know that She is very sad that She cant come in here no more.

 

I miss her too. I really appreciated how she often made reality checks in a lot of discussions. I know some people would prefer option of nice and safe place for sharing their fantasies, but I have always found her position much more useful and interesting.

By the way a lot of problems would be solved if people who would feel offended would use ignore feature...

 

I'd not go as far as to say that every trace of her has been deleted, in fact almost every trace of her is still here, every conversation we had is still listed in my conversations folder, and every post she made and every thread she started are still here for reading.

That particular picture is fine, but sadly there are so many other pictures available for us to look at in which she so often worked against herself. In-fact her ability to work against herself was tireless at times.

In every relationship there has to be compromise, give and take, sacrifice, this is what solid relationships are built on. This holds true in all things it seems, in order to move forwards we sometimes have to be able to pick our battles rather than battling everything. We have to sacrifice one idea in order to make another take hold, to give up in one area in order to allow another to grow, and a sense of what, where and when to give way, to bend our wills to align with the wills of others is paramount in life, a required skill if you will - and one that Amanda has no interest in.

Can I ask what happened? Is there a link or a post that explains her absence or banishment?

 

I thought she was a free thinking, stubborn, brutally honest, sincere, and thoughtful person.

Whatever the reasons for her exile, past or present, real or imagined, she will be missed.

 

I am bummed to find out about this. Her presence will be missed.

 

There has been a lot of arguing in various threads recently and it is really upsetting. The most recent one that as far as I can see led to Ms Amanda being banned was after she said something that to me did not seem that bad, that a chastity belt looked uncomfortable. Apparently this stirred up an old argument between her and the person she commented to. I have to agree with @obedient.boy, what on earth is wrong with clicking the ignore button if someone upsets you?

I am ignoring two or three Mansion members as what they say sometimes winds me up, but I can see other people like them so who am I to start an argument? One of them is being ignored because they started trying to tell me that Elle cannot be called dominant because we are doing chastity all wrong, and she doesn't treat me like an animal. I told them they were an idiot, that how dare they say nonsense like that and then happily ignored them. As I often predict they do not appear to be around any longer as I read pretty much everything that goes on here and the 'you are ignoring posts from this member' messages have stopped.

I really hope that the situation with Ms Amanda can be resolved as she definitely added a fresh perspective to the Mansion that helped me on several occasions. I didn't always like what she said, a few times I winced at some of her more cutting remarks but usually what she said was deserved.

 

Retired from battle for an easier more pleasant life....

 

Amanda will be missed. CM has kicked out its strongest shining star... sadly I am sure this will be devastating to the whole site. The beginning of the end ;(

 

There are better candidates to show to the exit door than Amanda, I know a few...

 

What nonsense this site is bigger than any single member and will continue to grow if allowed without the administrator team having to continually have to trade attempts by certain members to change their decisions if it does not coincide with theirs. MS knew what would happen if she did not respect the owners requests to adhere to the same rules as everyone else has to but no matter how many times she was asked to do so she and a few others would attempt to stir up trouble and dissent and make them back down which is after all she was after in order to fuel her own idea of self importance to this site. it is not just an isolated incident but rather the reaction to being told to "stop" that has led to her being asked to leave. Anyone else who really thinks she was only making a comment is deluding themselves she knew exactly what she was doing and even more so when she then began the " freedom of speech thread" in a direct attempt to set the cat among the pigeons, i for one support the Administrators stance on this and hope it serves to show others that we are all lucky to be here at all.

I hope it serves to remind others to appreciate the friends and acquaintances we interact with every day, for we never know how long we will have that pleasure.

I believe this thread was a way for people who miss a member to share their loss. Why a person would reply on this particular thread for any other reason I have no idea. Certainly the topic is clear in its title.

Perhaps anyone that disagrees with this particular subject, may want to start a thread of their own, so others of like mind are free to comment and agree.

 

I think the poster invited comments and unlike others here i tend to read others posts and comment if invited in a reasonable manner with no histrionics or tantrums!
