Now that she is officially running I thought of a cute campaign slogan. Let me know what you think. "43 males have done this job, and screwed up everything. We NEED a woman to fix it!! :)

Could be. I'm in UK and the only serious woman party leader her is Nicola Sturgeon (Scottish Nationalist) whose party only puts up candidates in Scotland; but she's made a huge impact so far and may very well end up with enough elected to dictate to the English (male) potential UK Prime Minister and name her own terms. Cameron & Miliband took to be running scared of her.....voting's May 7th so time will tell.

No one I know has a problem with a female president, but Hillary? I have never seen a politician with more scandal's surrounding someone. People are tired of government that lies to its own people. And she is a proven liar, No thanks!!

I'm not in USA so don't feel I can judge on that one, except that I can't think of a prime Minister in UK in my lifetime who hasn't been a proven liar; so I daresay that goes for most of the US Presidents as well: starting with Bill Clinton. And it would be interesting to know - given his track record - whether Hillary managed to get him locked up down there.......;););)

first I have to say that all politicians have to be liars, For if they don't they will not last in politics.
Well if anyone was to pass a law that all men should ware a chastity belt, I think that Hillary Clinton is the bet so far. I can see it now the first husband of the president of the united states in a steelworks. (maybe she should have done it twenty years ago.)

Honestly, who could argue that women are much better at multitasking. Not to mention they tend to be less violent. Scientific fact. The corpus collosusm, the middle barrier between the left and right brain is more active in women allowing for more balanced judgement. Just an opinion.

Hildog is basically our best bet. At least we don't have to deal with Milliband.. what a tit.

Lucky for you. Miliband and Cameron we have here and neither of them worth a row of beans. Only decent woman fit to lead here is Nicola Sturgeon, but since nobody outside Scotland can vote for her party (which wants Scotland to be independent ultimately) she cannot possibly win or become PM of UK nor would wish it even if she could. And since I'm in England.....

Except I believe the economy of Scotland could become a basket case if England stops supporting it.So it will be interesting when she has the rock and hard place thingy to deal with.

Let alone the donky's breakfast if we get left with a hung parliament run by a collection of minority parties.

oh how are you so sure that All politicians are liers? ?????

    Xx Wendy

Not so sure Scotland would be a basket case economically, but it's academic as it won't happen as a result of whatever happens in May: the referendum the Scots was a decisive NO. And even Sturgeon's ruled it out for the time being.

But we had a hung parliament last time: noone at the time gave it prayer it would last 5 years, but it did; and I'd not bet against another one (not necessarily the same combination: though it could just be - if unlikely) lasting 5 years too.

We live, as the Chinese curse goes, in interesting times.

    I hear the frustration.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter of they are liars. It only matters that we understand who they think they answer to.

I thought the answer to the question "how can you tell if a politician is lying?"
    was
    "Their lips are moving."

    So very true.

I seem to remember that in US when running for office Obama pledged to close down Guantanamo Bay. Chance would be a fine thing.

And one or two other examples in UK as well.
