I am helping my friend out by locking him and then being the keyholder. I live 120 miles away and may not be able to see him in a timely manner if something comes up. What would be the safest device for him? We are both new to this and very uninformed so any help would be appreciated.

Any device with plastic locking pins like the CB6k/CB3k/Curve range, in a true emergency the pin would be easy to cut. It is cheap to replace but can't be replaced without the keys as the lock will still be in the old one.

Thank you for the info. I do believe he is wanting a full belt right away. Maybe a cage of some sort would be better to start with.

The old key in a Sealed Envelope would work too. My Emergency Key is inside my wallet, in a small folded signed and dated paper from my Wife. Then complete covered in clear packing tape. Every so often she ask to see it. The paper is signed, dated and the sentence, 6 months Sentence if opened without an Emergency. I think you all know what the Sentence would be, me going without the chance of a orgasm for at least 6 months..

Works for us, been over 3 years and still unopened.

Get yourself a lock box. The kind realtors use. You set the combination and lock the spare key in it. In an emergency the slave can call and get combo to the box from you.
Look here for a good box, cheap price,

Does he need any measurements for the CB. I am purchasing it for him and having it mailed directly to him.

Not if you are buying something in the CB range. They come with a range of spacers and rings. He will have to figure out the correct ones via trial and error. If you are going this route i also suggest an anti pullout device like the ones sold by keptforher

A good way to do it is put the spare key in a box with a plastic numbered lock. (the one you could cut away but needs to be accounted for) .And lock it with a little trust . :)

I would further suggest that he try a CB or something similar before entering into the expense of buying a full belt which will be expensive. Dreaming about chastity and living with it in real life can often be very different things
