As a follow up to the "naming contest" run by MM, here's an initial review of the new Queen's Keep design, which is basically a Jailbird front / Watchful Mistress back hybrid.

Having started with a CB3K, which I can wear 24/7 with no physical comfort problems (but see below), I bought a Jailbird from MM about a year ago. Both I and my KH loved the cage, but we were able to use it only sporadically as i have a particularly awkward shaped anatomy (very high and tight ball sack) and I found that the back ring of the jailbird was just too wide in comparison with the base ring to enable me to get a long term comfortable fit. This in spite of every attempt by MM to find a combo that would work for me, including producing a 5/16" dia base ring as I found the standard 1/4" one dug in a bit.

I was in discussion with him about getting a watchful mistress to solve this once and for all when he announced the new Queens Keep design, and I went for that, as:

    1. The back "ring", being flat, is 1/4" less outside diameter than the Jailbird, which gives significant more side clearance over the base ring and
    2. I find the hygiene aspects of the Jailbird excellent - being uncut, I can push my foreskin back with a Q tip and wash every morning with the shower head, which does a lot for reducing smell, in addition to the open design making overall cleanliness MUCH easier - you don't get stickily sweaty.

I got it 2 weeks ago and have the following observations:

    1. In comparision with the Jailbird, it looks as good if not better (or so Mrs KH says)
    2. The back ring being flatter, it fits the base of the penis noticeably more snugly than the Jailbird (which was pretty snug). I haven't tried hard, but I think pull out would be difficult and getting back in even more so.
    3. It fits - from the feel of the first few days I think I'm in it 24/7.........

Overall I am very pleased with it - his best yet and recommendable to anyone. Plus, as always, the attention he gives to customer service is second to none.

The downside if you are in Europe and need to get an adjustment made is that although MM is very quick (usually 1-2 days turnaround on an adjustment) the postal service/customs can make snails look like Usain Bolt - sending it back is usually only about 8-10 days, but in the UK, it can take anything from 10 days to to 28 days on the return (most of which seems to sitting in a queue for customs clearance).

For those who don't have any experience of MM devices, the steel design has a lot of advantages over the polycarbonate CBXK series:

    1. For me, being a grower (1 3/4" flaccid to 5 1/2" erect), the tubes are too long on the CB - for real comfort you need a custom length/diameter - and 1/4" either way in length or 1/16" in diameter makes a huge difference

    2. I have no problem with the physical comfort side of my CB3K (other than the tube being too long, which means I can get a partial erection which then puts pressure on my balls when being teased). I think the CB series design is very well thought out and well productised. HOWEVER, being encased in plastic all day is a real pain with hygiene and cleanliness, particularly if you are uncut and your KH likes to keep you locked 24/7 with an occasional short break.

    3. There is a big mental thing about being in stainless steel. It's kind of odd, as although security is not a huge thing with us, (it is a matter of honour that if Mrs KH locks me up, that is how I stay until she decides otherwise), with the CB3K I knew I could always cut through the locking post with a hacksaw blade in about 30 seconds. With the MM device, I don't know how I'd get it off without the keys, and that really adds something - I feel "more locked" - daft maybe, but real.

So in summary - the Queen's Keep is a good design and really does combine the advantages of both the WM and JB.

Mrs KH is very concerned about good hygiene.

I couldn't wear the JB longterm for the size reasons listed above, and with the CB3K I had to be unlocked for a thorough clean every 4-5 days.

So today, after 10 days lockup, even though I explained the difference in ease of cleaning between the QK and the CB3000 she wanted to make sure everything was OK. I showed her the routine (push back foreskin with Q tip, spray with anti-bacterial soap, power wash with with shower head).

She has now decided that there is no hygiene problem at all, and more to the point, absolutely no reason to unlock me at all if she doesn't want to.

Although I've been locked pretty much 24/7 for the last 18 months, I am used to having a bit of a "stretch" every few days for an hour or so while the cage was being disinfected, and with the CB3K cage being 3" long, I could grow a certain amount anyway. Now I've been held at 1 3/4" long for the last 10 days and will continue to be until ....???

It is a much more intense feeling.

I just received (and put on) Mature Metal's Queen's Keep. I had ordered it back in June, and it was shipped just after I went on vacation at the beginning of July (a 2-week turnaround for MM), so I spent my vacation waiting in anticipation.

In any event, the wait was well worth the wait. I picked the unit up at the UPS center near the airport, and of course, had my pocketknife out as I was walking back to my car so that I could get the box open before I left the parking lot.

As others have said, the craftsmanship on these MM devices is superb. A very polished, well finished look.

Because of some early issues* I had with the 6000s, I ordered an additional base ring - one slightly larger than what I believed I needed (which is the 2 3/4" oval ring). So, when I put it on this morning, I put it on with the 2 3/4" ring. So far, in the 30 - 40 minutes I've been wearing it, it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything. It was also apparent that nothing could "slip through" either.

For sizing, I went with a 2" long cage, by 1 3/8" diameter with the (typical) 3/8" gap. Initial impression is that I did well on the sizing. I had ordered the sizing kit, and followed MM's directions for sizing, as well as the experience I had the the fit of the 6000s.

One other note (and I think this was mentioned in another review), is the weight of the device. Obviously, it is heavier than the 6000s (plastic), but it's definitely not ungainly. And also, very much more discreet under clothes than the 6000s.

I'll follow up with another review in a couple of weeks. I'm heading out of town tomorrow for work, and will hopefully not come out of the device the entire time. Will let you know how it goes (although I don't anticipate I'll have much to say at that time [IMG]

Oh, and I should add that the customer service from MM was (as others have also said) second-to-none. They completed the build when they said they were going to, were very helpful and responsive during the ordering process, and were very, very cooperative in working with me on meeting my shipping needs.

    * After trying different ring/gap sizes with the 6000s, I settled with the 2 7/8" base ring and 1/4" gap. While this was comfortable, my balls could (and did) slip through without any intentional help. The 2 3/4" ring rendered this impossible, but for the first few weeks, I could only wear it for a couple days in a row (was fairly uncomfortable). Eventually, I did get used to the 2 3/4" base ring, and could wear it full time with no significant comfort issues.

Well, it’s now been just over a month and I thought it worthwhile to give an update

After 2 weeks I felt some discomfort at the bottom of my penis, so was allowed to investigate. Small raw spot where the bottom of the back cage band had rubbed.
Fortunately, I’d had the same problem up front with the CB3K, so tried the same solution, which was to sand down the “sharp” (not really, but enough to cause me grief) edge of the bottom of the back cage band.

It takes longer with stainless steel than with plastic, but after about 30 mins with 180 grade fabric backed emery paper it looked and felt much smoother.

The sore spot healed after a couple of days so I was back in. Now been another two weeks and no discomfort (other than the fact I’ve gone 5 weeks with no orgasm).

Definitely the most comfortable device I’ve worn.

A couple of pictures below for the benefit of the voyeurs :).

@ jeank I was glad to see you mention the improvement of the frontal impact on the scrotum of the Queen's Keep as opposed to the Jailbird. I am also high & tight and am currently striving to change that situation. For compact me, the narrower entrance to the tube should be a large improvement.

Mature Metal has amazing customer service. Thank goodness as I'm a tough one to fit.

I want to wear my chastity device like my wedding band. Every day with meaning.

My partners Queens Keep should arrive in the mail within a few weeks. Queens Keep is a beautiful design very sexy and sleek looking.

We decided to go with the metal chastity as the CB3000 and CB6000 we find are too long, clunky and not to mention he keeps cracking the shaft when he gets hard (crazy glued it a few times). Plus the plastic is a bacteria cage, as well, it splatters when urinating standing up. Continual lubing, and we had to do our own alterations to it so it would fit properly, yet pullout was unsuccessful with fixing.

We are hoping with the Queens Keep that it fixes all or most of these problems we are experiencing with the plastic chastity as the Queens Keep is metal and custom fit.
