I'm thinking to buy a CB6000 on eBay to replace my CB3000 (copy), but because there are so many copies of the CB's there, I wonder how I can see if a CB6000 is a genuine one or a copy. My 1st thought would e the price, but that's not always a warrant to egt a genuine one...
Okay, back seriously... There's no way to see the difference between a renuine and copy one? I know with the CB3000 that the bubbles in the cockrings, as well as steel pins are proof of being a copy. And I surely want my next CB to be a genuine one, bought for a bit less on eBay
avoid "coloured" cb's they are fake. They do make styled CB's like the chrome and wood effect, but the neon blue/red cb6000's are fake too. I've seen pic's of the 6000's with bubbles in the rings too. I've never had mine split, but on of the pins came lose. but a dab of glue fixed it.
i have a very good answer for this, and a serious one as well. On the original ALM products, on one side of the A-rings is a number indicating which one it is 1-5 in terms of size. Also there is a very tiny "ALM" on the ring, same side as the number of that ring. Have the buyer take a picture and show you. That's all i can come up with...
made of same shit easy crack material, made in the same moulds made to the same standards the difference is the price when Chinese people make a product they market it as well on ebay if its country of origin is china then its not a fake its the real thing. the latest nasty the Chinese are upto with full container loads is they do a few ok then when no 4 gets to the docks its held until youpay them for a second time. When you buy from chinayou sre paying him three months wages for a single cb... Anyone who manufactures in china gets all they ask for its time to embargo the lot and get a manufacturing industry going here again
