How long did it take you to be able to (mostly) sleep through the night while locked without waking in pain multiple times?
Waking in pain because of general discomfort, or because of nocturnal erections? Took me a few months of daytime wear before I could get through the night with relative comfort. Have personally found that snug-fitting bicycle shorts or boyshorts have helped with sleeping...
Well it's waking because of discomfort caused by nocturnal erections. And so far I've actually found the opposite...wearing looser boxers makes it more tolerable. No daytime issues, but the night wakings are frequent and painful. Hoping they lessen after a few nights.
When I started it took several nights before I slept much at all. Smaller cages helped but there were times I'd gave bad nights again even in a small cage. I'm pierced, PA, so I switched to a non-balltrap cage. Mainly because I bike a lot and couldn't in a balltrap. Since, sleeping is no problem because with a non-balltrap I still can get a full erection so sleeping is pretty much the same as no cage at all.
I get them about 3-4 times a night. Tried loose underwear, tight, none, and in my case I sleep much better without any on. When they do wake me up I go sit on the toilet half asleep until I can pee. That usually buys me another two hours till it happens again.
About 40 days now. It stays at about 2-4 times a night. Not being unlocked till Valentine’s Day. Few more weeks.
I started wearing cages about ten years back… It took me a couple of weeks to even get used to it for extended time in the day. after those weeks, I took the plunge and tried to sleep in it.. rough night! I slept for about two hours in total over the full night stretch and decided to take it off at about 5am to take a few hours catch-up. I think it took a total of about 6 months of trying on-and-off before I got the first full night. Still woke up on the nocturnal erections ever since until I went custom about two years ago. so calculating…. It took me 6 years! That cage woke me sometimes in the morning with morning wood but I could sleep in until the alarm clock most of the times. With my latest custom cage, I wear for two weeks now, I can sleep easily. Still morning wood (of course?!) but no pain nor waking up by it.
I'm about 4 months in and some days are worse than others, but after I get about 3 hours of sleep, the nocturnal erections start and wakes me up every hour on the hour, and 3am is my killer
23 days in here. Usually just a single night erections now and a quick trip to the pottie erases it. Then right back to sleep. Then again I've typically had nature calal then anyways so nothing new.
John, I’m cracking up. You mentioned something that I do that no one has mentioned before: sitting on the TOILET HALF ASLEEP waiting for the erection to subside. That’s me alright.
I dont think I have ever woke up in pain. I have stumbled into the bathroom in the middle of the night and found, at times, relief seems to take a bit longer to start then I remember from not being caged ...but then again I guess I was younger then too. I used to get erections when I started out with CB6000. Once I added a "pull out" preventer erections werent a problem because all movement was very limited. I have since gone to the HT V5 NUB and now erections really arent possible at all. I can feel attempts but thats all. The 40 CM ring has bothered me some during the day depending on activities but at night/sleeping I never noticed at all.
You should not be in pain when wearing your cock cage, even at night. I am caged 24/7. I sleep in my cage, go to work, gym, everything and I have no issues, zero pain. Yes, nocturnal erections can be strong and you can feel discomfort, but you should not be in pain. I sleep well now with my cock cage, but it took me several months to adjust. If the erection is very strong, I go pee and back to bed, but mostly I just sleep through it now. I have a custom BA-28 in titanium and have no issues at all. Also have a couple HT V5’s (nub and small) and sleep well in them. For me, it only took 1-2 months to completely adjust. I travel a great deal for work and am wearing almost 24/7…. Only time uncaged is occasional sleeping with wife who is my KH. Feels odd to sleep uncaged now.
