Flying in chastity

I have flown locked with no issues, I suspect it’s even less of an issue if you store it in luggage for security.


I like to regularly live while locked, but that might just be me. If you’re the same you’d have to make sure you’re following any and all appropriate regulations for any countries you are in.

 

I fly nearly every week for business…always locked and go through TSA (pre-check) with no issues. The one time I got random screened and went through the body scanner was no issue either.

My experience is limited to US and one international (Switzerland) trip, but others have said in other threads that generally the EU countries isn’t an issue, other parts of the world maybe/maybe not.

If US travel, don’t worry about it…other areas, if in doubt, remove it before security and put on after etc.

 

I'm a shy person and don't want additional scrutiny/private screening, so I usually unlock before going to the airport, shove it in my carry on bag, and lock back up in the bathroom after TSA. I fly every few weeks for work and it's honestly not bad at all.

 

I’m under the guidance of my wife/KH so it’s up to her, and since this new cage allows me to fly without unlocking that’s what we do. Everyone needs to do what they’re comfortable with for sure.

we also had a small key box that had a tab and spot for a security seal so when I used to wear my jailbird I did the unlock before and lock after security, seal the key and send pics/video etc and reverse the process coming home.

 

Lots of 3-d print options now. Etsy has them and depending on your key style.

 

I have no interest in talking to TSA about my sex life. Unlock, put it in your bag, and relook when you get there.

 

TSA could give a rip about a chastity cage. The comment “it’s body jewelry” is sufficient to keep them from probing more….but totally get it and totally respect everyone’s limits on things.

 

There has been quite a few posts regarding this and as already mentioned you should check the law in our destination. Other members have said that a lot of eastern countries have bans on sex toys and they class a chastity device as such.

 

My KH travelled with me a few times and has determined that there is no reason for me to carry a key. I know there are a lot of opinions on this matter but in my case it is not my choice any more. I travel about 2 times per month including US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, most of Europe, Japan, Korea, Thailand, China (pre-Covid), probably missing a few. HAVE been questioned a few times and "body jewelry" or "piercing" did the trick. Interestingly the scanners in the US used to show a yellow square, resulting in a quick wanding, but they do not anymore. Have actually asked TSA officers here and their counterparts in Germany and in Mexico and they have all told me a chastity cage is OK (the US one argued with me that it couldn't be setting off his detector).

Again, totally get it if you are against it for any reason, I just want to say that if your KH really wants it you will manage just fine. You won't even think about it after the first few screenings.

 

How was your experience with Thailand? I am considering to take it with me with carry-on luggage on a domestic flight, but technically sex toys are illegal here and I am also traveling with a male friend (who knows I am into kink, but still not prefer any questions alone or with him next to me). But if it is not a too big of a deal (titanium cage), it would be far more relaxed to have only a carry-on bag with me for those days.

For Thailand? I literally went through all of them. That’s how I found this post. The difference is that it’s one of the few countries where sex toys are officially forbidden.

 

I just went through TSA wearing a metal cage with no problem. As for Thailand, if sex toys themselves are illegal, would it really make a difference whether you're wearing it or have it in your luggage, either way they're going to see it.

 

It depend on what device you are in. If rubber or plastic then there should be no problem. However if it is steel one then yes you would as I am have a problem My key holder when we fly uses another method that is not steel

Why do you think steel is a problem? Most people go through body scanners now, and yes, the guy watching the screen will see it, and he'll see the plastic ones too, but he won't care. If you go through a metal detector, it will probably set it off, so just tell them you have personal jewelry and they'll send you through a body scanner, no problem.

 

A UK based sex toy shop has listed a bunch of places where sex toys are illegal, and that list includes Thailand and most of the other backward thinking countries that you might imagine, like UAE, Saudi Arabia and Alabama, USA.

I guess it depends on the type of chastity one is using. In my case the one I keep in chastity is kept in a Neosteel system. If you know of it you would know it is well much like a a steel thong pantie. I am sure it would cause a problem going thru a scanner. While if one is in a cage that may not be the case

Funny, in Huntsville, Alabama there are toy stores. I've been in them. Purchased from them. Go figure
