Sad but true, but on the bright side, last year was worst?

My husband and I ride. His Aprilia,(which he sold) hurt his balls badly. I’ll be getting him pierced soon, so hopefully the cage-only device will work ok. But if it comes to a cage or the bike, he’ll just have to decide if he loves the bike enough to suffer.

But I’m going to strongly suggest he doesn’t get another sport bike, because I don’t see it going well with his cage. I’ll be pushing him get a Triumph Thruxton. He’s too big for my 250, and I won’t let him ride my Scrambler when I get it.

Check out the Speed Twin from Triumph. I know if I had to give up my sport bike it would be at the top of my list. It may not have the punch, but it has the handling.

He said he doesn’t really like the styling. The Thruxton feels longer, and he doesn’t feel so big on it. He’s about 6’4” and 275lbs. So it can be tough to find a bike that feels like it fits him. He really wants the MV Agusta Brutale, but I think $30k is a bit excessive for a motorcycle.

Speed limit is 70 around here. My Ducati Scrambler under $9k will do that just fine.

Me and my wife ride as well!!! i don’t think I’ve ever ridden with a cage on though. Maybe he can add some padding to the seat and creat a gap or at least take pressure off the frontal/groin area.

When I finish building it, it will be interesting to see how it rides with a cage on. I don’t want to dent the aluminum racing tank!

This last Sunday I went for a step with my motorcycle and with the CB placed.
It was a torture, I could not draw the curves well.
It is not a good idea to drive a 600 cc. With a CB

I noticed none of the Harley riders seem to have any trouble, lol. I have a '95 Triumph Trident and a '73 Norton Commando, haven't tried riding either while caged yet. The Triumph has a Corbin saddle which isn't very cushy so I don't think it'll be suitable and the Norton isn't running at the moment because, well, it's a 49 year old Norton, pick a reason. Might give it a try soon if the weather cooperates.
I'm a motorcycle tech so I rarely go to work locked, might have to ride anything on any given day, and I'm not in a hurry to find out what riding a full-on crotch rocket while caged feels like.

Ducati Scrambler? That would be an ideal bike for riding caged. Get two. Better bikes than the Triumphs, and I've worked on both. Higher maintenance, but they're Italian, whaddaya want?

I do think it's a sports-bike specific problem. I ride a R1250GSA with no issues at all because of its upright seating position. Sitting in the car for a couple hours is an entirely different story though.

I can verify that riding my 2008 Goldwing while caged, is very uncomfortable for a high and tight guy. By the time I’d gone a half mile, I knew it wasn’t going to work. We rode on into town to our favorite breakfast spot, and I went to the restroom with the emergency key and unlocked. The forward portion of the seat rises up too much to make it possible.

Triumph Tiger 1050, caged 24/7 for last couple of weeks and ride 3 to 4 time/week no problem with cage.

It is very annoying to ride a motorcycle with the cage on, you are dying to stop.

It annoying sometimes if you are having difficulty trying to find somewhere to pull up when the need to adjust has arisen
