How long can you safely wear the tether spout without removal? And, how do you clean the pieces if it is in place?
I wore one for 9 months, when I eventually took it out the spout had corroded a bit because it was shit steel, the one I have in me now wont corrode in 1000 years. Clean the inside with a cotton bud, the outside seems to keep pretty clean on its own. I am not sure if my current one will be removed although possibly for checking but I doubt there is a need. It doesn't hurt and I don't even know its there until I am cleaning the inside of the cage with my finger and soap. The cock is held 3 mm from the front of the cage and can not come back further than that.
I can only go about 48hrs before it just starts to hurt too much. Not sure why, I’ve tried wearing it as much as possible to get my body used to it, tried different sizes and lengths…
Anonoman, it has definitely taken some perseverance to get to this point. My newest spout and retainer has been in for about 6 weeks and I am not sure if its perfect or not. So far so good. I really cant feel it until I have to mess with it. It is far far better than the 9 month stint version which had a bit of constant discomfort, not bad enough to remove it but more annoying. There are a few places around I suggest you read the thread in devices "looker2 with Tetherspout" will give you a lot of information.
