You want as tight a fit as you can comfortably wear. When I put my base ring on, I put the testicles through first then need a dab of lube to pull penis through. As long as your stuff isn’t turning odd colors or going numb, you are fine. Anyone that has been in chastity for a while has a drawer or bag full of devices that didn’t quite work. The Cherry Keeper is a good solution and you also may want to find a variety of cheap devices off Amazon, ebay, alliexpress, etc. Most of the plastic ones are junk though and will start smelling which will be a big turn off for your wife. A stainless design that is open enough for cleaning is a great way to go. start simple with her and the only rule is she keeps you locked unless SHE wants you out and you put it back on as soon as she is done.
First, hello and thank you for the reply. So, metal is the way ultimately? I so much prefer pink/black/blue. The junk one I got from amazon had a modular ring but even a solid 2" im pretty sure is not large enough. I am excited to get going with this but I know we need to take things slow.
Not everyone can wear metal. I’m allergic to some metals. If you can’t or don’t want to go metal o would recommend the Cobra from Mr S leather in SF. A google search will bring you to his site. There are a lot of cobra knock offs. So beware. Good Luck!!

Welcome! I prefer the metal ones, but, I tested a lot of cages, and none of them were perfect for me.
