Locking keys via internet

I do think there are some out there - check the archives here and there will be discussions of pros and cons. I use a combo lockbox, and send photos to holder so they know lock combination and i don't. Seems to work. I was hesitant to use lock controlled by internet or phone, mostly because of cost. I looked into such things. There's a number of smart lock boxes on the market. Real Estate Lock Boxes are what you want to look for. They're made to be left locked on an apartment or house door, so that the real estate agent can input a code and take the key out.

I use a non-smart lock box with my key holder. The code can be changed to whatever she desires. Unlike the smart lock boxes which seem to cost $130+, I got this one for $15, and don't have to worry about it being hacked, losing signal, etc.

If you're doing full remote, you can do a video call, show your KH the box with the numbers facing away from you, scramble the numbers and confirm she can read them, then lock your keys inside the box.

She has the code, and can give it to you when she pleases. You don't have access to the keys. This is very similar to the process with the chaster web app, if you've tried that.

 

Here is a lock I am ow getting set up. Controlled remotely with phone app. I am using it to lock the keys in a clear plastic tube so that my Mistress can verify keys are safe. SHe can open the lock remotely.

That is the same lock I have available to my Mistress and works very nicely.

 

Yes. I am all set up now with this lock. It is exciting and a bit scary to know now that I have really given up complete control of my clitty!

Cellmate gets good reviews on the websites that sell it, but it’s control app at least in the Apple App Store gets horrible reviews

 

My little bluetooth lock is working out great! The app takes a little work to figure out, but once done, it is pretty easy. I like the fact that the keys are in a piece of plastic tubing, so they can be easily accessed for emergencies, but are verifiably secure. Plus, you are not having to deal with a bulky lockbox.

 

I ordered one of those, or something that looks the same. But the vendor made a substitution and is sending me something with a padlock form factor instead, which is annoying.

 

I've used Locked Brands Stash can. The only down side is the battery doesn't last long, so it needs to be either turned on and off when needed, or connected to a USB. But, it works great for me for long distance locking.

 

I think the ideal solution doesn’t exist yet. There are things that work differently for different people. I’d love to see a truly effective app and device that works with 1 push of a button. For keys or for the lock or cage itself. But I haven’t seen a simple internet based solution that isn’t buggy or doesn’t get a whole lot of mixed reviews

 

Just my opinion. Maybe I want too much out of it and should be satisfied with the options currently out there

 

AS long as it can be used to lock your keys up in a tube, it should work fine. It small enough, and waterproof, it might fit right on your cage. The square lock that I have will actually fit on some of my cages, but not my Mature Metal one unless I drill out the hole a little bit.

 

The pin of lock that I use will actually fit onto some of my chastity cages, and is supposed to be waterproof. That would be pretty close to a one step solution. The pin is just a tiny bit too big to fit through the hole in my Mature Metal cage, and I didn't want to drill it out.

 

My lock uses the app OKLOK+. I set up an account as the lock owner, then added my Mistress as a friend. Then she could control the lock through her OKLOK+ app. Then I deleted the lock from my phone and sent her the QR code of the lock. She then loaded up the QR code and set up the lock as the owner. Now she has complete control, and I cannot load the lock on my phone because it already has an owner.

Your lock control software probably can be set up similarly? Good luck!

 

I created a free yahoo email account just for the lock and used that when I set up the account. Then I told my KH the email account, the lock login, and the password. My KH changed the password, and now he controls the lock.
