Why do you lock?

There's a number of options missing...
My one would be:
"Lock up yourself because it improves both your, and your significant other's sex life".

 

When George Mallory was asked why he intended to summit Mt. Everest, nearly thirty years before Sir Edmond Hillary and Tenzing did so, his reply was simply, "Because it's there."

Seems like a good enough reason to me.

Conversely, if it were not there, I'd have little reason to lock it up, and my wife would have less.

She'd also have little reason to be my wife.

 

Mine's not in the poll, but I self lock because I've had a problem with low willpower and chronic masturbation. Decided to try a cage. So I've been locking off and on for the last couple years. About 2 weeks ago, I decided to really give it a try and have been locked since. I go back and forth between a properly sized cage and a nub that looks like a salt shaker lid. Loving the feel of both cages and loving the feelings and time I have instead of being a slave to my next orgasm.

this is most like where I hope our relationship of 35 years will go. though no painful to her, PIV is seldom of any interest to her. Right now she has no interest in locking or unlocking me so I'm basically self- locked. Until I find a device I can wear indefinitely, there doesn't seem to be a plausible way to change that.

I supposed it was reason for self locking.. i locked up because masturbation habit was hampering our sex life..to preserve libido/testosterone for her fertile period.. may not been captured in the poll.. but most of all.. locking up the penis is fun..
