New belt maker looks awesome.

Hello, the belt looks really exciting. How does the locking mechanism work? Can someone show a picture of it? And how is the tube shaped at the end inside?

A few of us are waiting on our orders so can't say for sure. I think at least one CM board member does have one of these though.

Not yet, he's been silent for 2 weeks now (to me) . I did see where they may move again but wish Jura would just inform of delays versus going silent.

 

I hear that. He's been silent on my order for a month now. Hope you hear something soon.

That is a beautiful looking belt. I've tried a full belt but never managed to wear it for too long as my weight fluctuates a lot . But a belt like that is a good incentive to loose weight and keep it off .

 

Yeah jeeze, I really hope so. I haven't received mine yet. Not sure if the person who started this thread has either. It's been two silence for two months though.

Also that's terrible the ban on sissy men. Can't be who they really are.

 

He messaged me in early August to say they hoped to ship my that month. Now we're back to crickets. It has now been one full year since I initiated my order.

 

Saw the maker respond to a tweet a few days ago but no response to my emails, very unfortunate...

 

If i can add my 2 cents. I am also interested in this belt and been considering it for a while as I believe it might be a very good substitute to neosteel, which has a great products but getting the right fit is problematic as well getting any response takes ages. Thus I reached out to the owner of Jura couple months ago on fetlife, sharing my praise for his work but also my doubts, regarding lack of proof of his work due no reviews from the community either here or on fetlife. He said he was aware of this, and that he had already accepted orders form US and Europe, and shortly there would be positive comments. But from what I see, it is totally opposite. Such a pity there is no one producer that has both great products and customer support.

 

Neosteel is your best bet

But if you heard from him last month that must mean he's not been shut down. I think that article with the government trying to shut down femme men was a free months prior right?

Just heard back from Jura today - seems that he moved house and is having delays in getting setup. Likewise looks like a certain amount of manufacturing is taking place from home as well. On the + side he also sent drawings of the custom plug I wanted and made a choice there, now asking for an estimate to deliver the whole thing.

 

It's good to know he is responding to someone! But don't get your hopes up too high.

• I paid for the measuring kit in September.
• I confirmed my measurements in October.
  
• In March he said they had resumed production.
• At the beginning of May he said they had moved their studio to a new location.
• At the end of May he said they hoped to ship in 4 weeks.
• At the beginning of August he said they were renovating their home but hoped to ship that month.
• I've pinged him twice since with no response.

At this point he is officially less reliable than Walter. But I'm the guy who advises people to budget patience as well as money for these high-end custom belts, so I keep waiting ...

 

I hear you ccontrol - I think Steeworx is in that boat nowadays as well as Neosteel for anything under the ordering of a new full belt (seen on other threads). Even BBRZ is running so "hot" they can't take custom work for now.

Crossing fingers that it will eventually work out- his product does look amazing....

 

I heard from him at the beginning of the month. He says they've had lots of mishaps with their home re-model. I told him that going silent and reappearing to provide estimates that prove wildly wrong are hurting his credibility; and that lots of people on the forums are waiting for some evidence that he can actually deliver. I told him that if he can't estimate he should not, and that he could post pinned tweets about where he is in the order backlog (like Exploratory Devices does for the Nimble Stroker). Then people would have a sense that he is doing something, and that they are moving up in the queue.

Needless to say, i did not get an answer back ...

It's now officially a year since he got the money and measurements to start working on my belt.

 

That is good feedback and hopefully he'll take it. The "radio silence" approach is the biggest confidence killer as you said.

 

Yeah at this point I'm starting to consider getting a refund.

I haven't heard anything from him at all. I have tried looking several places and no one else seems to actually have one of these devices. Together this concerns me quite a bit.

Like you said, give me a reasonable and ACCURATE estimation not radio silence.

 

I see Twitter user au2fuxi with several pics wearing this belt, kept my hopes alive the products are real and there are "just" manufacturing/delivery issues
