    Hello! My Goddess and I have been doing chastity play for nearly 5 years now and cuckolding for 4 years. I've popped into this site a few times over the years but recently we've been discussing taking the next step in our chastity journey.

    Our goal is to keep me locked 24/7/365 while she holds the key with the option to temporarily release me when absolutely necessary (emergencies, doctor's appointment, etc.). With that said, I figured I better do some more thorough research on chastity best practices to figure out how we can make our goal a reality!

    I already have a PA piercing and have been considering splurging on a high-end Steelwerks Short Story cage. Any tips, tricks, or ideas from chastity veterans for long-term/permanent chastity is very welcome!

    If you are used to wearing a device, just ramp up the durations as you please. I have found that it is completely possible to stay hygienic over many months. I just shave in the shower. The warm water loosens things up so you can get to most areas without a problem.

    I was actually looking into laser hair removal for my scrotum and penis so shaving wouldn't even be an issue at all!

    Well another one that has 4 years and that turn permanant at year 5. I am 4,5 years and it look like 4 years is the time where you go serious for good. look like I'm stuck now....

    And as you already have a PA it should be easier for you now. I am not cuck anymore but I love it when she was doing it. such a nice lifestyle.

    Kylara-there is probably some truth to that. I'm sure every person and every couple is different, but there is probably a "threshold", at which it becomes a lifestyle and is considered indefinite. (or "permanent"). We've been doing this (male chastity) for almost 5 years as well, and have certainly cleared that threshold. I am locked 24/7 indefinitely, with a weekly 10 minute removal for cleaning and inspection. I'm in an Evotion Bijou, anchored to a frenum piercing, and so would require the device to be destroyed in order to get it off without the key. I haven't had an orgasm or unlocked erection in almost 2 years, and my beautiful wife/KH and I have no intention of going back, as long as we are both still living.

    I don't want to set a rules of anything, it is just a factual constatation in many reading here, the ones who have been for long caged periods do this after around 5 years. maybe the time to get used to and to rewire your brain in acceptance of it? Who knows but look like that 5 years is the time switch to goes deeper or not into this lifestyle.
    And I can only talk for me I pass from a kink first 2 years to scared of being chaste the 2 years after to now considering it as the new normal. I am in 4 years and half..... same for my wife witch was opposed to the cage and now asks me to get caged.

    Why unlock for doctor visits? i do not get let out for doctor visits. my GP knows about my cage and She has absolutely no problem with it. She has never made it awkward at all. i think most doctors are professional about it. If you get scorned or ridiculed, find a different doctor, is my humble opinion.     Yes, life gets in the way for us at times too. i also get rare piv, but that is just her preference with my rather small cocklett. Hope all continues well for you both.
