Come visit Texas where Christian Nationalism is encouraging vigilante forces to police and sue pregnant women who dare to express autonomy over their bodies, where child wellbeing and education are ranked lower than any other state, or perhaps take a tour of Hurricane Ida's path and see real America for yourself, lacking electricity and basic up to date infrastructure. In all fairness, the "Delta Variant" happened which for some unknown reason is far more transmissible and almost all the ones in the ICU were unvaccinated.

 

Living in Germany today was the first day when I heared the 7 day incidence split into totally vaccinated and partially or not vaccinated.
The ratio was 9:227 or so.

Here in Canada, the system is a joke. Vaccine passports are in full-effect in my area, and all it does is create a discrimination on whom can do what. I am not and will not ever support anything that has to have me dictate my personal health to someone else. It's a pile of hogwash.

Meanwhile, cases keep rising, people who are/aren't jabbed are still getting sick. Hopefully there won't be another lockdown, frankly I'm sick of this and want my life back.

 

For Germany the unvaccinated and recovered have the same status as vaccinated twice people.

 

You of course cannot see that you've been radicalized, because you took the red pill. You want so desperately to know truth, to be righteous in your opinion, you willingly delved straight into the alt-right deep end of alternate facts. Your use of statistics shows you know mathmatical reality matters, but yet you choose to believe the minority, because you took the red pill, and therefore will dismiss any and all factual data contrary to your red pill enlightrnment. It is interesting how lockdowns in Australia have morphed them back in to a penal colony again...and they are okay with it apparently. Kudos to GB for sending them all there to begin with. There would be a lot more riff raff in London nowadays if they didn't.

 

Even if the lockdowns work though, how much is too much? It worked twice, which we can see clearly from numbers. By having more lockdowns, we're creating more economic instability, taxing other resources of the health system (mental health) I don't think there's any winning. My region has been under lockdown three times with curfew implemented, basically reducing our province to a rather draconian state. Given that Delta ignores the fact that people are some are vaccinated, it is counter-productive.

This coming from a guy whom has been fully vaxed.

 

Heard immunity is likely the only way out of this, then. Our numbers must be skewered as a result. I stopped following the curve after the third wave broke out; it was as taxing mentally as it was exhausting. Fact remains if you've recovered, your antibodies are much stronger than anyone who's been poked.

We all live in personal bubbles in various ways and can't objectively understand our situation without the views of others from an outside perspective. Wise people are able to take in information even if they disagree and challenge their already established views.

 

Sweden has taken a more liberal approach and had a higher excess mortality then other countries using lockdowns.
The rate of infected and died may be 1:43 (Germany) over all age groups.

The real problem is the intensive care capacity which could again run out and in that case even younger people can be affected by that if they cannot be taken care.
At some areas there is already more than 30% of the intensive capacity occupied by CoViD-19 patients.

This shows the actual mortality statistics for Germany grouped in age classes and female/male.
The odds for my age is still ~ 1:200 to die if I get it and am not vaccinated.
