My ring just snapped at the post (both sides) this morning while i was having a extremely hard erection. I have had this for over a year and this is the first time anything has broken . Now I did try the silicone rings that cbkguy suggested in the anti-pullout blog. I was able to pull out when soft, but I did notice that it did seem to hold my cock in place, not allowing it to slide up the shaft. I wondering if that put to much pressure on the posts causing them to bind and break the ring.

The A-ring of my CB-6000s broke back in March after wearing for 5 months for 24/7 (or 31). On March 12, right after i showered. i was drying off when i felt a sharp pinch. Looking down i saw the right side of the A-ring broke at the post hole.
Being late for work i didn't have time to get the box out and put on the next size down A-ring, so i went to work unlocked. During the day i felt like i was missing something, i felt naked being free, i missed the feeling of being locked. The next day i went down a size, i was using the largest ring (2"). i've been in the next size down since.

Then two weeks ago, one of the posts came lose from the locking ring, I was again out for two days again until I could get some crazy glue and I glued both post back on. i thought the post came lose because the A-ring was tighter, but who knows. i do know i'm saving up to buy a spare 6000s.

regarding pull out - i never had an issue, i could pull out when i wore the 3000, but then why would you want too or even try to pull out?

    CB X000 plastic junk experience

Already lost 2 A-Rings this way. I wasnt able to glue it because the break area is just too small for glueing. The cage itself also broke in two pieces and the guide pins fell off and the guide pin base broke. To sum up: Every part of the CB6000 broke.

Since I cannot spend 100s of $/€ everytime something brakes, I improvised a lot. So this is how Im locked now:

The A Ring is from a chinese copy CB3000. The locking pin hole was drilled larger to fit a CB6000 pin. The loose guide pins were replaced by small anchor bolts (Ger: Dbel) superglued to the A Ring. Screws in from the front and the connection has its stability back. The cage itself was glued and additionally supported by very tight, thick rubber bands.

Conclusion: After spending hundreds of Euros on a original CB3000 (about 130 EUR) a fake CB3000 (~30 EUR), a CB6000 (~150 EUR) an Exobelt (first version, ~200 EUR), Im disappointed by all of those. 510 EUR (=640 USD) almost wasted.

This money would be better spent on a quality product like Neosteel, Goethals, Steelworks, whatever. Plastic devices are just playtoys used to get to know if chastity is what you want. If yes, another invest in a real chastity device/belt is inevitable.

    Kind Regards,

    Oh yes

I'm in exactly the same situation. My main ring, second smallest broke so I went back to the middle size which has now also broken in exactly the same way as shown in your photo. I also have the cage glued to stop that splitting as well.

I have managed to glue it and while everything is held together it seems to be OK, but, as soon as you try and remove things for shaving/cleaning the ring breaks again.

As you say, it starts to work out to be very expensive either buying new devices or spares.

yep - mine also broke in the same way. I bought mine from the manufacturer ALE so I know it wasn't a cheap import.

I have the same problem all of you as well. First my cage split (we did get a replacement for free), then the post broke(again replaced for free) now the A ring breaks.I wonder if the makers of the CB6000 read these blog's. They should :beatdeadhorse:

    Twice.

And consider yourself lucky that both sides broke. Nothing like the feel of a jagged piece of plastic digging into your scrotum to start the day.

mine has broken once,,,the number 2 ring for the cb6000s. but a quick phone call to the millers who sell the originals and i had a new ring at my house in 2 days. no charge since it was in the first year since i bought it(late feb. 20120).

when its all said and done guys it is just plastic...nothing like that will last forever but i think tht the "real"cbs000 will last as long as you can hope for without a lot of abuse. and really now....its really not that much money for the happiness and excitement and joy W(w)e get from the wearing of them.:penisdance:

i too agree that metal will go a lot further but they present their own unique sets of problems. one day i "hope?" to be locked into a full metal secure belt. but until that day i make the best of a pretty good situation. also if you have better desigm ideas...forward them to the manufacturers...im sure they would love to hear possible solutions for their problems.:beatdeadhorse:

One of the guide pins fell out not even a week after I bought my 6000. It stays put when it's all put together. No other problems yet, though.
