I finally broke down and bought a 3D printer a few months ago, a Creality Ender 3 Pro. Of course, it didn't take long for me to start experimenting with chastity devices. I have a metal device from Mature Metal that I have been very satisfied with, but any design can always be improved.

One improvement I wanted to make was to use the Holy Trainer style lock. Also, my dick tends to shrink quite a bit when soft, so the ONLY way I can make a device that is "pull out proof" was to get a PA piercing, with a segment ring. I use a small length of chain to keep the ring secured inside the penis cage. The free ends of the chain have to be secured in the lock, somehow. Finally, I don't like squeezing my balls through a solid ring, so I have always favored a ring that can be opened for easier application and removal.

So, after all these considerations, and many prototypes, I have come up with a satisfactory design. It is quite secure, and comfortable. I printed it with grey PLA. It was designed using the program, freecad. If anyone wants the parametric files, I will be happy to share them.

The unusual shape of the ring happened because one of my testicles popped out of the original design. So,rather than re-design/re-print the whole thing, I just shortened the lower part of the ring. Also, the alignment/locking pins coming out of the cage part are separate pieces.

nice, unique solution on the multi part ring - I do like that. Your lock is essentially a scaled up version of the "chinese cage" lock, which gives good flexibility with attatchments, but is it strong enough? Those pins are floating in between holes in the ring and the cage aren't they?

I believe the lock is strong enough. I print with the long axis of the lock cylinder along the printer's z axis. In some earlier prototypes, the cylinder broke while trying to get the lock pushed through. I think the printed object is more likely to break between the z axis layers when stressed, so I orient the prints so layers are not in the direction of stress, even if that means it takes longer to print, and is harder to finish. Also, the alignment pins help prevent the cage from rotating upward, which takes some of the stress off the lock itself.

Regarding the pins, yes, they are free floating, but much tighter on the cage side. Originally, the pins were part of the cage, but would occasionally break if the fit was too tight, when trying to put all the pieces together. The cage takes like 4 hours to print, and is a real pain to clean after printing, so I made the pins a separate part. That is why there is a small hole on the front of the ears that hold the pins: if one breaks off, I can push the stump out with a small pin. (That hasn't happened, yet). The diameter of the pin is limited by the chain I use with my PA piercing. Though I don't think the pins are the weakest part, I could use a cut off nail if more strength is needed.

Thanks for your input and interest! I really like your design, as well.

Nicely done. That is a very good design We also started out on an Ender 3 with our full coverage chastity devices. Heart-On Chastity.
3D printing has made so much possible. Keep up the good work!

I was wondering if I could get a copy of your files so I could try out this cage. I have creality cr10S pro.
    Thanks

No problem. I'll upload the files for the current design when I get home tonight. Of course, I am already working on the next generation, with a fully enclosed lock cylinder, much like JosieLynn's design. I'll post pictures of it when done.

Sorry for the long delay....I like to let the suspense build! Anyway, here is my current (final?) design. I have gotten a little better at using my 3D CAD software (freecad), so the cage design is a little more elegant, with curved bars instead of straight ones. Also, the lock is now completely enclosed, and the base ring is a little more refined. IMGx.out.jpg IMGy.jpg IMGz.jpg IMGy.jpg IMGz.jpg Enjoy.

Nice work on your design! The open ring without a hinge is something to be appreciated for sure!

I love your design. Would you be willing to make one for me? Is the material you’re using safe for long term wear?

I agree, you design looks impressive. Like the split ring too. Would it take much to make ring adjustable?

I see there is some interest in my design. I will find my 3D CAD files and upload them here for anyone who wants them. It may take a few days for me to find them.

What I am asking myself:You are printing this on the ender 3 pro - which is a one extruder printer, afaik?
So how do you print this stuff without any support material?
    Just curious;-)

you pretty much have to print this stuff with supports and then remove and hand sand them. Personally, I use PETG on FDM printers for cages because of how nicely it sands compared to PLA. 400 grit and up to 800 grit on rings.

Hi there.... I wasn't able to see any of the files on the post here. Did you eventually upload the files here? Or did you upload them to a place like Thingiverse?

Did you end up getting a PA? Ever thought about a cage only design....so much more comfortable. Wouldn't use PLA as it is pretty brittle and not so strong. I use PETG and TPU, both very capable materials.

Are these designs available somewhere? I would be keen to try them out, especially one that requires a PA

For anyone still interested, here is the data file for my chastity device. I use FreeCAD, a free, open source 3-D modeling program. The finished components are in 4 groups: NU (the upper portion of the base ring), NL (the lower portion of the base ring), FAR (the cage itself), and 'alignment' - the two pins that fit between the cage, and lock the upper and lower parts of the base ring together. I use a lot of "sketches" to define the dimensions of the various parts, then extrude a solid shape from the sketch. Where two parts will meet, such as the alignment pins going into the holes, a little extra room must be left in the design so the fit isn't too tight.

Feel free to modify sizes and shapes to suit your particular anatomy. The trickiest part is getting the locking tabs to line up with each other, the cage, and the upper part of the base ring. If you can avoid altering that part of the design, it will be much easier.

    BUT:

It turns out that the entire file, at 2.3 M, is too big to upload. So, I will slice it up into smaller pieces, once I find out what the maximum file upload size is, and upload the pieces individually. Stay tuned.

OK, here's how it works: the data file is a single file, called cage99.FCStd. It has a file size of 2350648. This forum software won't let me upload a file that large, so I used the zip utility to split it into 3 files of no larger than 1M each. Those files are called: cage99f.z01, cage99f.z02, and cage99f.zip. But, I can't upload files with an extension such as 'z01'. So, I have re-named them to 'cage99f.z01.txt' and 'cage99f.z02.txt'.

So, to put them all together to re-create the data file, save 'cage99f.z01.txt', 'cage99f.z02.txt', and 'cage99f.zip' to you local drive. Strip the '.txt' part off the *z01 and *z02 files. Then, use 'unzip' to regenerate the original file.
