Maybe not necessarily. Women are pushed in to higher education but higher education is proving to not be as valuable in the future. Almost zero percent of women consider trade professions as an option in the U.S. What is more important in your daily life, public intellectuals or running water, electricity, roof over your head, ect.

Time should be the ultimate example of what you are saying. A privation that is given to everybody yet is rarely taken in to consideration or factored in to daily decision making.

What I meant by the quote is that many modern leftists are willing to sacrifice the people's standard of living (while keeping their own perks and amenities, of course) in order to achieve their philosophical goals.

 

There is something more though. The countries where people scream the loudest about something like gender inequality are the ones with the most equality, the most resources, and the most opportunity. Various other non-western countries don’t comprehend the idea of gender equality. Their views are just, the women do this, the men do that, and that is just how our society works. As opposed to say the U.K. or U.S. where even if women made up 90% of the government, you will still have women with purple and green hair marching in protest while throwing bricks through shop windows shouting, “the future is female!” Maybe it isn’t about resources and opportunity but a lack of purpose and societal identity so people are just stuck on perpetually identifying as a victim.

I worked in an office for 25yrs full of women n yeah......I can say 100% they ruled. I was there to lift heavy wgts around the office but also to do as they say. I didnt mind. I stayed there right? FLR is a trip!

What constitutes a functioning society is very much up to interpretation. If chastity mansion users formed a nation it would consist of men crawling around on their knees while their female owners train them like a Labrador retriever. In your view, what would a functioning female run society look like?

Thanks for pointing that out. Comparing Ayn Rand to Marx? I mean about the only thing you can find comparable is that they have 4 letter last names with A and R in them. Marx was far far more impactful and in no way positive.

 

That has actually been the most fascinating thing to see. Everybody assumes that more women in government means more getting along. Peace, civility, ect. If you look at their actions and words though, they are very authoritative in their thinking/governing and less democratic. Not with violence or military but through cultural influence, speech, legislation, ect. Almost like a resegregation of society.

Your religious choice to worship one evil person instead of another evil person does not make sense to me. I think the teachings of Marx caused immense suffering, but that does not somehow provide a free pass to the destructive teachings of someone else, just because they claimed to not follow Marx.
